The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace in our junior suite which was spacious, warm, and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from hooks in the right places to enough hangars to coffee pods. The hotel is beautifully decorated, reflecting its long history. It's obvious that the family is very proud of their hotel and deservedly so.

Unfortunately, the spa doesn't open till 3:30, which was occasionally inconvenient.

Wow! Where do I begin! When you approach the village you will be in amazement by the Castle of Tarasp that you see set high up on a rocky hill! Then when you arrive at the hotel, it looks like a scene from a fairy-tale! Beautiful flowers everywhere and the structure of the building is very pleasing to the eye! The staff are super friendly and very kind! They will make sure that you are having a wonderful time! I was surprised when I saw my room and the spectacular view from the windows! I had the single room with the four-poster bed and no detail was spared! The architecture in my room was amazing and beautiful woodwork too! The bed even had a remote control so you could sit up or put your feet up! Nice stereo system too! When you look out the windows you see snow capped peaks, a beautiful lake, green pastures and if you stick your head out the window and look to your right, you see the most Amazing view of the medieval Tarasp Castle! There's a beautiful garden filled with flowers located on different levels of the property! When you're walking through the halls, staircase and dining rooms, you will be taken back in time by all of the pictures and alpine memorabilia! The place is just so colorful to look at! There are picturesque hikes all around the quaint little village! Breakfast and dinner were very delicious too! When I come back to this area, I will stay here again! Thanks for making my visit so Spectacular! 😁

Very Peaceful location with amazing view of the Castle, Gourmets paradise. Food and wine extensive and exquisite. A very talented chef. Very spacious room with really good bathroom, changing area and storage. Informative and helpful staff Beautiful, very old building, with lots of Character

car park a short walk away not right next door. Wouldn't have been too bad, but was not good in the pouring rain! No lift and steep stairs

Our stay was exceptional, truly exceeded our expectations! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was absolutely lovely! And the food was incredible.

Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer.

The style and setting of the hotel are absolutely fantastic. We had been unable to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary last year due to illness, so we wanted to find somewhere special for Valentine’s day. The hotel totally lived up to our hopes and expectations.

There wasn’t anything that we were unhappy about.

This is the perfect combination of Swiss hospitality , a permanent commitment to satisfy the client , a cosy restaurant of high level cuisine and last but not least , a fantastic location .
