Mr. Lai, the owner/keeper, was great. He provided me a lot of good information, such as tourist attractions, where to eat, transportation, etc. He loaned me his bike, so I was able to go to the ferry harbor/terminal before its closing at 5 PM. With his bike, I visited all the local tourist attractions. He even arranged transportation (taxi) for me and another guest to go to the ferry harbor/terminal very early next morning.

Good location, friendly staff, and clean/quiet dorm. Nice kitchen.

The 1.5 showers for the entire dorm were fine with only three guests staying , but I think it would be annoying during a busy time. No towels provided. No hand soap provided in small bathroom (dispensers were empty). While pillow and duvet were comfortable, bed itself was very hard, so I didn't sleep well.

the customer service was amazing and the room was very clean and we got a free upgrade as she could see we had a lot of bags! even though she didn't speak much English, we were still able to communicate very well.

Because of sudden complications with the public transportation, I didn't manage to get to the hostel on time but the staff was really helpful and I could do a self-check-in later.

Well located not far from the fish market with lots of food. Staff was very friendly and told us where to visit. Place is clean.
