Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who spoke excellent English, so good that you could get proper travel information here. They also booked the ferry to the Island for me. The room was much better than expected. For tiny rooms to be, it was very comfortable, with a proper bed, crisp quality linen and a fluffy duvet. Shelf and charging outlets above the bed. A locker with 2 shelves inside, was provided for each room. Just perfect, so you can arrange all your little bits there, instead of having them on the limited floor space. Everything was spotlessly clean. Towel, soap, shampoo and toilet paper provided. Good WiFi. Hot and cold water dispenser Excellent location 2 min from the bus station, and a 7-eleven nearby. There is a restaurant downstairs which I didn't try because they don't have beers and I found a rarity in Taiwan nearby, a big courtyard with lots of proper tables and chairs, cheap food, reasonably priced beers...and smoking allowed.

When it says terrace under outdoors in the description on Booking.com, I expect a terrace for sitting at....but there isn't any! In the description, it also says that there is no WiFi available. They should change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. There IS WiFi, and it's good.

Very handy for the bus station and the night market (& the new must see boat museum) I had one of the hostel type rooms in this rather nice hotel. Can’t speak for the proper rooms (though breakfast in the hotel restaurant looked great ). Hostel rooms are on a mezzanine floor (not attached to the lift) probably old storage area converted into a social area overlooking the restaurant and 5(?) lockable cubicles just a bed width wide. Great WiFi good electric points comfy bed and towels provided - everything you need and lots of space for a suitcase (as long as you don’t plan to spread out) staff helpful (mandarin only I think)

Only annoyance (mentioned elsewhere was that there really is nowhere in the bathroom to hang anything - just the window opening). But hot water good - I couldn’t get the shower head to behave but probably just me! Floor to ceiling partitions so no light from adjoining cubicles but might be some noise if you have inconsiderate neighbours Just one flight of quite steep steps to the rooms

Comfortable, clean, 3min walk to bus station. About 30min walk to ferry terminal and 10mins walk to night market and convenience stores. Small lounge area to relax in and clean bathroom. Restaurant downstairs with good food. Breakfast was good value.

The location is great. Driving is good for travelers because you don’t need to look for the parking lot except Wed, Sat due to busy night market.

B&B doesn’t prepare disposable toothbrush, comb and razor due to environmental protection. But the travelers may come from other countries who don’t know Mandarin.

Close to main bus station, really friendly staff (helpful for activities), drinking water dispenser, nice vegan restaurant with discount for guests directly next to the location

Very kind, English speaking staff. Spacious room with daylight, balcony and a good view. Good bed, clean bathroom and relaxing shower. Very near to the bus station.

Super nice & outgoing Host who spoke English very well! We had an issue with the room and she solved it super quickly & friendly.

The location is at a pretty loud street, for people with a light sleep this could be a problem.

Great staff - very reasonably priced - nice big common area spaces - pod accommodation is perfect - much nicer than normal hostel

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and made an otherwise good hotel exceptional. The restaurant's food was delicious.

They are very friendly and helpful, the room is very private. The aesthetic is modern and clean.

The room is above a restaurant so it's a little noisy until 9 pm.
