Early check-in proposed by the young counter lady before our request gave us a big surprise as we could have a rest after early flight to Taiwan. Arrangement of a quiet room on upper floor let us sleep well every night. Buffet breakfast has a good variety of food which is fresh n nutritious. Problems were solved once reported. Bathtub cleaned enough to relax the body.

Room service is of low quality. Not clean enough. Cleansing stuffs n towels n slippers are not properly supplemented. But the counter staffs are really smart n efficient to solve the problems.

Here is my review . I got this booking. From the website from booking.com and they provide me a free room upgrade to an executive suite which surprised me. The room is big and spacious , got the bathtub and take a good hot bath. And the tv have many channels to see. The location is near Kaohsiung Train Station and have quite a variety of choice for public transport, and it is a walking distance to Liuhe night market who will like to drop by there to have a bite. It is also a walking distance to a 7-11 which is convenient for people who like to make a small purchase for essential. They even provide a gym and breakfast buffet for people who like to eat at hotel.

What I didn't like is, 1. The breakfast choice is limited and there is not much selection available for people to choose. 2. The gym facilities is kind of rundown and the treadmill seem to be not able to run safely due to the unstable track. 3. The gym opening hour is 9.30am to 9pm which is kinda of odd as usually people prefer to gym in the morning before breakfast when we are travelling. 4. Unwilling service, we request a late checkout for 15 mins but the staff ask if late checkout must pay another 800ntd for an hour extension and the price is ridiculously high.

Our room was clean and spacious with great amenities. The wifi was good. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night so the price was cheap. Close to a night market, good breakfast restaurants, and stations.

The elevator is a little slow. After washing in the shower it felt like a slimy feeling on our bodies until it dried. We couldn't tell if it was the water or the body soap provided.

Good value for money especially the Executive Suites. Plenty of space. The deluxe room is a bit small. Good space for working. The location is excellent, close to metro and Kaohsiung main station. Comfortable bed and not noisy.

The breakfast variety could be better. But considering the hotel rate, it is very good. Other than that, I think it is a great hotel to stay! Highly recommended to stay in Kaohsiung.

The main highlight is its excellent location, within walking distance to Kaohsiung main station and still quite close to the Formosa Boulevard station and the night market. The staff was accommodating and fulfilled my request for a room on a higher floor which I really appreciated!

The room is relatively small with a limited space to move around. Despite booking during peak season at a higher price, I don’t feel it justifies the cost. Our double bed was essentially 2 twin beds pushed together so I could feel the gap in the middle. Both the bed and pillows were too firm for my liking.

The hotel wasn’t super fancy but it got the important things down. Comfortable bed, spacious shower with good water pressure, and reasonable check in and check out time. Also gave us extra pillows when we asked!

The décor was beautiful and on theme. Location was close to perfect, a few minutes' walk from Kaohsiung's main station. Comfortable furnishings in the room.

Fridge wasn't working when I checked in so I had to get someone to check it out (problem was fixed eventually). The air-conditioning dried the air in the room so much I came down with a slight cough.

All was good. We had a bigger room that was very comfortable. Great bathroom. Coffee bar inside the room. Good Asia breakfast with some sweet continental components.

Bit less AC in the breakfast room and a latte macchiato or at least warm milk, would have been great. But that’s not a big thing.

It was not too far from Kaohsiung main station and the room was comfortable and clean.

The room without windows has a nasty smell (might be due to lack of ventilation?), the room we were initially allocated was down and they did a prompt service recovery and moved us to a bigger room.
