- The staff was super friendly and helpful! When we arrived, the typhoon had just passed, but it was still heavily raining. We wanted to leave the hotel to go looking for an umbrella and the lady behind the reception desk ran after us with umbrellas, because she was worried we'd get soaking wet. - We could leave our luggage for an hour or so extra after checking out, because we still wanted to meet some family for a quick visit. This was no problem at all. - The room was comfortable, clean and had plenty of shelves and a few tables, where you could leave your books, toiletries and other things. - We had a family room on the top floor with a shared rooftop terrace, which was great. You could have breakfast there or just enjoy the view. It was fenced off, so the children could walk around safely.

- We had to climb quite a lot of stairs. We didn't mind, since everyone in our family is healthy and young(ish), but for those who aren't, the stairs can prove to be a challenge.

Hotel is super close to Kaohsiung station and only 10-15 min walk to Formosa Boulevard MRT station for the other line. Could choose two breakfast options each night for the following morning and all were delicious. Personnel really friendly. Room is spacious and comfortable. Aircon available.

I don't think the hotel took the non-smoking policy very seriously, resulting in a lingering cigarette smell in the room (windows open though).

15 mins walk from Kaohsiung station, a bit longer due to construction boarding up of station. Great that breakfast was included. You order breakfast from menu (see photo) the day before and the hotel buys the breakfast ftom those local breakfast stall. I liked the bacon egg roll. And free coffee. Many English and Chinese movies TV channels. The hotel provides free bicycles but I forgot to use it 😑

The corridor has some smoking smell. The room too but u can open the window (has insect screen) to air out the room

The room was a bit smaller than most but comfortable nonetheless. Doesn’t have any elevator & the steps leading to the 3rd floor are very steep.

Really friendly staff on the desk. The room was comfortable and suitable for our short stay. Good location, especially the proximity to the inner city train station.

Not a 24 hour reception. If you are staying out later than 11pm, you have to get a key card (that is separate to your room key) to access the front door. Otherwise you will be locked out and have to try to call somebody to open the door.

Kaohsiung Main Station is just nearby. 👌 Room is big and clean. Complete neccesities.

You can hear the noise outside the room or in the other rooms but it can handle since it is normal in places like this.
