The location is good. Just in front of the Kaohsiung station (Railway and the Redline). One station away from the Formosa station which is closer to the LiuHe Night Market. The facilities is clean and comes with laundry facilities, which is a plus. Knowing taiwan weather, it can get hot and sweaty.

The toilet faces the bed and is separated by glass. This causes some problem when we leave the bathroom light on during night..somewhat abit bright. The light switches requires some understanding to see what remains on and off. The door is too close to the bed. Need to step quite in to close the door.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. DIY Laundry available. Good location right next to the main station. There are good food vendor options around the block or familiar fast food next door if you feel naughty. Plenty of movie channels on the TV to relax with. Breakfast is very comprehensive.

The light switches and wiring in the room is very confusing... It's like playing whack-a-mole trying to figure out which switch to use. The master room switch to turn off all lights then turns on a night light under the sink which is way too bright. It didn't stop us sleeping though. Would prefer a simple warm lamp with its own switch next to the bed. The bar fridge temperature is also set quite high so not the best if you prefer cold water.

- Very efficient and functional layout. Shower was very clean and spacious. Love that the table can be used in bed. - Staff were very polite and responsive. - Environment was quiet!

Some minor nitpicks (not a big deal): - Bed was a little hard (but expected for this price range). - No bidet spray - During check in, concierge had already said that cleaning would not be carried out unless requested, so the daily morning calls (to ask if cleaning service is required) felt unnecessary (and a little disruptive when sleeping in late).

Very good hotel, clean, with helpful staff. Located across from a central metro station and just 600 meters from a night market. Next to the hotel, there are well-known fast-food chains. Nice breakfast, though with very few options for Western tastes. The downside: there was no knife to spread butter on the bread. The upside: although breakfast started at 7, we asked if we could enter the dining area at 6:50 to catch our train, and they allowed it. I would recommend it….

The laundry machines are in the local language…

Location is perfect, opposite Kaohsiung MRT station. Beds were very comfortable, staff approachable, adequate shower and lounge space. Blackout curtains were super-effective even in direct light. Breakfast buffet food quality was satisfactory. Good value for money.

Soundproofing could be improved. Breakfast buffet with a peanut allergy was something of a minefield, with staff uncertain which foods contained peanuts though they did a complete check upon asking. Signs indicating potential allergens (they had them for vegetarian and halal options) would be beneficial.

Self-service washing machine (X2) and dryers (X2) without charge was really great. Breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of choice with daily changes. Really impressive for the price. One of the reception ladies was really lovely and helped us to make a booking at an ear cleaning spa. Location was also really excellent.

This was the only place we stayed at that doesn't have free filtered water. This seemed highly unusual. Not all of the reception people were friendly and helpful (except one), although all were polite.

Location! It’s just across the street from Kaohsiung Main Station where you can take an MRT or the normal train. The high speed train from Taipei to Kaohsiung stops at Zuoying station. From there just take an MRT to Kaohsiung Main Station and cross the road to the hotel. The staff are friendly and professional.

The aircon draft was a little strong even though we lowered the fan. There are no hooks in the toilets. Even if it’s a safety issue, plastic hooks can be used. Otherwise it is so inconvenient as you cannot hang any clothes up.

It was across the street from Kaohsiung Station, which made it super convenient to get anywhere in the city or surrounding areas. The room was a good size and clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with some staples and some rotating options everyday. There is free laundry on the main floor and they provided laundry detergent, which was an excellent amenity to us. The staff was always courteous and helpful. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

Clean hotel with free breakfast and laundry. Opposite of Kaohsiung Main Station and in walking distance to the night market. Room was not too small (20m2) for a family of 3 - inflatable bed for our 5 year old fit perfectly beside the normal bed and still space for luggage and walking. Room got cleaned daily when turning on the green light on the door.

Nothing but got scared every time the hotel shakes from earthquakes 🥲

Overall a good stay and would love to stay again if we ever come to Kaohsiung in the future. Details incoming (warning: long)... Arrival: easy check in and payment. Lobby: comfortable with some coffee and hot water available. Laundry machines are free and nearby but only 2 washers and dryers, which might be occupied often. Detergent is provided. Room: 6th floor. Decent size and comfortable. No noise except when people were walking by and talking outside occasionally. Nothing too bothersome. Bed was comfortable. AC was adjustable and worked well. Kettle and mini fridge available. Bathroom: essentially both toilet and shower behind a semi-sheer glass (meaning you can see the outline of someone when they're in the shower), Separate from each other. Shower: All soaps are provided. There's a top showerhead and a mobile one, both of which had nice water pressure and very hot water (sometimes it got hotter and colder randomly). Location: awesome, right outside of Kaohsiung Main station and easily found. There are various fast food restaurants and a 7-11 nearby. Zuoying HSR, Kaohsiung airport, TSR, and Formosa Boulevard are easy to access from the station. Breakfast: some variety but most of Asian taste as expected: noodles, chicken/beef/pork in sauce options, Asian style salads, soups, rice etc. Best part is SOY MILK was provided, that was an incredibly nice surprise! I could have coffee :)

Main downside was the breakfast was only until 9.30am on weekdays and 10am on weekends, it's too early for people who are late risers or who need to take medicine well before eating! Extending it to 10.30am every day would be much better. As for variety, more simple and western options could be provided. For example, variety of eggs is limited (scrambled eggs were nice but cheese is bad for dairy intolerant people like me so I couldn't have it). Simple boiled eggs without salt or just scrambled without cheese would be better. Cereal was sugary and that was not explained at all (it said cereal rather than sugared cereal). Orange juice is not 100% juice and very sugary as well.
