*** Need to improve in 12F The staff in 12F SPA Pool need to be more professional with need-to-retrain English skills to be more polite to customers, particularly in executive class. The action of rejected customers asking for help with unprofessional English while just playing with her mobile phone was unacceptable (April 4, 2025, during the 3pm to 5pm session). Furthermore, as I asked about massage service in 1F front desk, the staff told me there is no massage service in the hotel, so I need to walk into the SPA Center in 12F and booked by myself. Marriott is a world-class hotel, so the staff need better training in communications with foreign customers, not just with the ones who can speak Chinese.

The hotel is linked to the E Sky Mall, which houses a great food court and a wide array of restaurants. The room is spacious and the bathroom is well equipped with a bath tub, a shower and an electric toilet bowl. The hotel is within walking distance to a light rail station and a subway station. The room is very quiet. The staff are nice and helpful. It is only hotel I have ever stayed which provides decaf drip coffee in the room.

There is a building under construction next to the hotel and we can see some workers on the rooftop, so we need to lower the curtain most of the time during our stay. The E Sky Mall is a convenient short-cut to the light rail and subway stations behind the hotel, but the mall is only open from 11am to 10pm, so unless you take a taxi or call a uber car, you need to walk around the huge hotel-mall complex to the front door of the hotel during non-opening hours of the mall. The hotel also needs to vacuum clean the carpet and floor more often.

The room was nice and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. We booked it for our child's birthday, and the staff kindly prepared a cake and birthday card, which was a lovely gesture. Pool was open until 10pm.

Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional. There was a bag of meat exposed through the melting crushed ice where the food was served. Nothing concerning but visually not very pleasant. As for the sauna, kids under 13 weren't supposed to be allowed, but the staff didn't enforce that rule. Plus, the sauna wasn't very warm, and kids coming in and out made it even colder.

Like most the guests enjoyed the spa /pool and gym Spa v clean Check in /out prompt Nice late evening drinks /food in T fusion bar but not tried other restaurants Lobby and café design cold & unfriendly so did not use.

Location bit far out and at present, construction nearby. Breakfast many hot foods rather cold but wide choice of dishes. Room had no coffee on arrival only decaf and room service told me hotel had run out! I had to ring for 4 days in a row. Room design not great as lighting poor, space poorly laid out esp. in bathroom which had few useable surfaces. No desk if you want to work.

The whole hotel made one feel very relaxed and "excited" eager to explore the facility. The water spa was the best and! Hotel staff was very attentive, there was a very tall gentle at lobby assuring all guests are attended for, should have asked for his name and praised him here! The bar and restaurants were all quite wonderful and reasonably priced. Planning to join the Marriott Bonvoy after this stay.

Ha ha, I guess the Love River just outside would be the only draw back as it is not maintained well. Guess this will have to be on KaoHsiang governing mayor and planners' head, but the hotel can make an effort to discuss the issue with the City Hall.

The hotel lobby is very beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom. I like the style very much. It only takes 5 minutes from the hotel to the MRT station. It is very quiet at night and you can have a good rest. The gym equipment is not bad.

The shower head button in the bathroom is malfunctioning and the water outlet position will move away. The view from the window is directly blocked by the building and the view is not very good.

The room are super big, bed are comfortable. The hotel connected to the mall where you can find food and things you need easily. The service of concierge excellent on arranging our Limo pick up and rental as well as offering last minute additional transport service during our last day (special credit to Charles Wang and Peggy Hsia).

The staff handles the gym and swimming pool could have been more friendly. We did not enjoy our time swimming even though the pool quite nice as the staffs very strict watching us swimming and feels like over-controlled /too strict which at the end we did not feel comfortable.

For me the location worked well, as I could walk to the office and it was January so not too hot. Swimming pool and gym facilities are good. For swimmers the pool is 25m but not designed as a swimmers pool; as in tiles running across the floor and gloomy lighting. Buffet breakfast but could be better for little effort.

Big and impersonal. Hotel is attached to a high end shopping center. Restaurants are relatively expensive.

Everything was simply perfect. The room had a nice view overlooking the city. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym during our 2 nights stay especially because we couldn't go anywhere as it was raining heavily due to typhoon. Easy access to the mall was also a pleasant surprise. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food but it was rather expensive given the fact that we can't possible try everything out.

It would be great if the hotel could provide some tourist information such as local events and attractions that could be visible for all guests. During the typhoon when it was raining all day I asked one of the staffs some questions about some malls but I didn't get much useful suggestions. Especially when I don't speak the local language I wished they could have helped to call to find out if some places were open or not.

Breakfast at 9/F has much more variety than at the Executive Lounge, contrary to what the staff told us at the reception. Generally, the choices are good.

We only tried the Chinese restaurant (apart from breakfast) at the hotel. The food was just mediocre except the Peking Duck. However, the apprentice was responsible for cutting the skin in front of us, and his master was standing on his side supervising and teaching him. I assume this was part of his training but from a customers' perspective, this is not good. The duck was not hot enough when served as a result of the long cutting time.
