Room service/cleaning a hit or miss. I was out for 2 days as I was hiking in Yushan. Came back to a room with no changed towels. Had to ask for one.

I loved the whole place; the location was amazing, check-in went amazing, and the staff was amazing as well. The spa area gave a big plus to the place, + breakfast was nice.

The private rooms are nice; however, you can hear and smell everything since the upper part of your "room" is an open area and I could call it a stable most like. Noises, light, deodorant and phone calls can not be ignored, especially the whole night the lights were on and it kept bothering every guest.

The spa. Great facility with 4 pools with different temperature, sauna and steam room. Needed it after a long day sightseeing. The checkin staff was friendly and recommended me where I could buy a plug adapter. Room was clean. Sheets and towels were fresh.

The room had a gap at the top so light from the corridor and sound from other rooms came through. They provide earplugs though and I used an eye mask. My room only had one plug outlet. Breakfast was quite simple, congee and bread and spreads but at least something.

This hostel with tiny singles and a large dorm is like a throwback but offers a great bargain not far from main station. Perfectly clean, friendly staff, good wifi. Unexpected bonus is the onsen! It's old but well maintained with four pools, icy to hot, a steamroom and sauna. Note one limitation, onsen is open only 1200-0100 and has the only showers, so you have to shower at night. There's free tea and coffee and sometimes snacks.

I arrived with 2 cases, the entrance is on top of a large staircase. just as I was trying to figure out how to get my large bulky suitcase down the stairs the recpetionist had already come upsatirs to assist me. Same for when I checked out the staff automatically went to get my bag and help me take it up the stairs. The set up is big spacious and chill, and the berooms are compfy with enough space for opening & sorting suitcases.

The sinks & toilet facilities were all clean. The issue was the shower & bath area. More an issue with the molding and peeling of the ceiling & walls. Very unappealing & concerning, for health reasons.

I don't know if I got lucky with the discount offer, or if it's discounted like this often, but I stayed here for approx. 12 Euro in the dormitory. The location is great, central and somewhat close to the night market. Staff is friendly and helpful. The included SPA has 4 pools: cold, normal, hot and very hot water and a steam room and sauna, all included in the stay. Breakfast is simple, but very nice.

Check out is until 10 am, not 12 am which I'm used to, but not much of a problem.

Love the concept. You get your privacy with your mini room and still pay hostel prices. Breakfast was ok. One of the selling points for me was the included onsen (hot and cold pool, sauna) but that came with unexpected extras.

Not the hotel's fault, it might have been a one time thing but the ambience in the onsen was to say the least, seedy. I only went once during my 2 day stay and I saw some naughty behavior from some of the guests. Unless that's your thing I wouldn't choose this place based on the onsen.

FREE breakfast, sauna, steam room + hot/cold bath, fast WIFI, vendo machines at the property, friendly and accommodating staff. If you need something, just ask the staff. They'll give you alternatives to save you a few dollars, when applicable. I also think that SINGLE INN LINSEN really values customer reviews. Having stayed at the property a few times, SINGLE INN LINSEN has really improved so much. They also let us stay in the lounge area after checkout for a 2+ hours for FREE.

They're really strict with breakfast time. Make sure to wake up at least 30 mins before free breakfast ends or you'll miss it. Soundproofing has improved, but could be better. But if you really can't stand the snoring dormmates, just ask the staff for FREE ear plugs.

I love the spa and the single rooms. They even gave a set a sleep wear! The girls dorm has a small sitting area before you go into the rooms which was nice, you didn’t have to sit out in the main lobby if you didn’t want to.

There was AC for the whole floor but even with the vents in the room doors, it didn’t flow into the individual rooms. It was pretty hot all night having to sleep with the door closed.
