The room is right next to the beach with amazing views! It’s clean and well-maintained, and they even provide free beach sandals in the closet. The location is excellent, with a bus stop right at the entrance and within walking distance to Kenting Street. The beach is clean and beautiful, and the breakfast is very generous and satisfying!

The room is quite small, and the hotel is very crowded, with public facilities often fully booked. It’s more suitable for families with kids, so couples might find the presence of many children a bit disruptive to the peaceful atmosphere.

Room size, the sea view, the fact that it is far enough from the night market to not let the noise bother you and close enough that you can walk there if you want to go.

House-keeping. They replaced everything the next morning as always, but for the first time, our beds were not made up. I don't know if it was an oversite, or new policy because it was the first time I experienced it.

They have a very accommodating staff keep it up 👍🏻, from the restaurant the gym , spa and we enjoyed sitting also at the cafe & bar the staff there was so good , our room has a pool and sea a perfect view , we haven’t tried their massage bec our time it’s too short ,we wish to stay longer .

I was surprised how big the property was, and comprehensive the facilities are, particularly given the relatively low cost. It is located right on the beach, which we made good use of in fine weather at the end of Feb. We were given an upgrade to the room, which faced the ocean. It was a massive room with high ceilings and 2 king-sized beds. Everything was high quality, and there were no issues whatsoever. Our booking included half board which gave us access to buffet dinner and breakfast - both comprehensive and diverse. I would say mid-scale for a hotel buffet. As English speaking Europeans (from Australia) we were in a very small minority, but were made to feel very welcome by the staff who did their best with limited English. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location directly at the beach and in walking distance to Kenting night market. Shuttle bus from Kaohsiung station is very convenient (albeit not free). Facilities are all clean, especially the pool and the gym area. Breakfast was okay, could have a little more variety in fruits and vegetables. Definitely a relaxing stay!

Did not provide any sun umbrellas for chilling at the beach and the wooden benches were a little hard. I felt like the staff at the restaurant and some at the pool area could have been more friendly. Cleaning and check in staff were super friendly though. Small and unimportant complaint: the music they play at the pool and beach area was very annoying.

The hotel is perfectly located with direct access to the beautiful beach and the Kenting night market nearby. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and the hotel has plenty of facilities. The breakfast and dinner buffés offers a wide variety of local and western food that is fresh and well prepared. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Some parts of the hotel feel a bit outdated and in need of a refreshment/renovation. At least for the price you pay you'd expect it to be a bit more modern. The buffé restaurants can also be a bit noicy at times, but it is after all a very big and also family friendly resort so it is perhaps to be expected.

Beautiful beach! Lots of waves when we were there so no swimming, but it didn't matter. We were quite happy to sit in beach chairs, watch the waves and relax. An easy walk into town for restaurants and shops if that is your thing. We did the half-board so breakfast and dinner were included. Good food (and plenty of it) with lots of options. As a vegetarian it can sometimes be difficult, but Chateau Beach had more options for me than anywhere else we stayed during our vacation. The house band at dinner was great too!

Nothing to complain about. Going to a big all-inclusive resort during the summer we expected to encounter the usual - crowded, noisy, full of kids, etc. - and it would have been fine if we had. But we didn't! Our time at Chateau Beach was peaceful and relaxing!

The staff were absolutely amazing! We loved hanging out at the beach bar with Ruby (the bartender) and walking to the night market near by. 10/10 recommend this place! Dinner was good, but breakfast was GREAT so if you were to pick one meal to have there, I would suggest dinner at the night market and breakfast at the resort.

Everything! The room was very comfortable, the facilities were excellent, breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We had to checkout early and head back to Taoyuan Airport because of an incoming typhoon and the hotel even gave us a partial refund! Totally unexpected and unasked for on our part and a truly generous act.
