Hotel is super-clean and well-maintained, nothing broken or frayed anywhere. Breakfast is included - small individual portions (not a buffet, possibly because of the pandemic) - but very tasty and great coffee. Even so, the fantastic staff is where this hotel shines. Avril (manager) and her small team work incredibly hard to help guests. During our stay, a drunk guest caused a disturbance late one night. When brought to her attention in the morning (front desk is not 24/7, but there is a security guard), Avril immediately addressed and resolved the problem. Very much appreciated.

Many hotels in Jiaoxi, including Hsing Fu, get their hot water directly from the hot springs. Even the shower runs on water from the hot springs, not a water heater in the building. Each room has a huge square jacuzzi-like tub to enjoy the hot springs. But this 'tub' takes up a lot of space, so the Double Room itself is smaller. Consider upgrading to the larger rooms in the hotel.

The breakfast was simple..choice of 1 toast and 1 drink and the toast was delicious. The room is spacious and has 2 beds. We are a family of 3. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. It will be good to have a sofa too. There is a hot spring tub and it really help a lot after all the walking and long flight. This is a basic kind of hotel and no facilities.

There was a kind of stale smell when we went in. The floor was tile and it felt really cold. It will nice to have a carpet when we step out of bed in the morning.

super value worth haha! I love how spacious the room is and the amenities provided. the surrounding is quite serene (not much traffic), very peaceful. the in-room hot spring was spacious. the morning breakfast is good and the staff helped to make special arrangement so that we can have breakfast at slightly timing for us to rush off to another tour. I definitely will stay here again when I visit Yilan. it’s about a 10mins stroll from Jiaoxi transfer bus station. just have to walk across the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park.

the view isn’t the best when looking out of the room. and also quite awkward that the we have to draw down the curtains when soaking in the bath else privacy may get intruded which kinda default the purpose of having a window there while soaking.

Nice and clean place. Staff was very helpful, especially explaining to our bus driver where to find a bank for currency exchange. Breakfast was simple with a toast with toppings, a hand crafted coffee, a roasted sweet potato and fruit, but it was nicely put together in a tray and was yummy!

The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, suggested places of interest to visit, answer our every query. We were offeredd an upgrade to the family room which was the size of an apt. Truly made a difference to our stay. awesome.

Everything was good.

Great establiahment with friendly staff and spacious rooms. We were on the 6th floor and our room was spotless, equipment was new, everything was in working condition, WiFi was decent. Guests may find the int'l AC wall sockets useful as well. We also had simple, but delicious breakfast, which can be requested to be served in the room. Indeed an enjoyable, modern hotel. Would come again.

new facility, big tub for hot spring with strong water pressure, quiet and nice small breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights. The room with 2 large king size beds is good for family.

it’s a little far from down town, but shorter walking distance to the bus station. The room smells bad. Every time we walked in the room, smells like sewer. Check out time is not flexible.

Clean rooms, great location, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable beds, huge room, beautiful and serene mountains one can see from the windows, big and clean bathroom, relaxing private hot spring, complete facilities. One of the best hotels we have stayed in!!

Staff was friendly and they gave us simple breakfast also brought our toast and coffee to our room even we didn’t pick breakfast for our room booking. The room and beds are BIG for 4 pax to sleep in

It’s slightly a longer walk from the Main Street where all the street food and shops are located. The toilet is pretty Big so they should have provided 2 sinks for a 4 pax room

Hotel has upgraded the room. The room is big and beds are comfortable. Nice and big hot spring tub in the room.

It will be good to provide more clothes hangers and towel hooks in the bathroom, and curtain to block the view from the glass panel between the sink top and the living hall, for privacy when changing.
