The location , its a old hotel but the room is big and new , better than the reviews

The shower room have strong pee smell and bath tub not clean probably. Many stuff were on the phone all the time . The hotel can manage better

The rooms that face the beach have a nice view. The access to the beach is the best! The hotel is located just at the end of the Kenting Strip, so street food and restaurants are just a few minutes walk. Note: if you going to Kenting, eat the street food, it's the best! (and cheaper than the hotel's little eatery)

The price for breakfast was honestly a bit ridiculous! My family ate a really nice Thai restaurant for less than they charge for a breakfast that is nothing special. If you can find where the locals eat breakfast, you will save a lot of cash and be just as satisfied.

It's hard to know where to start. The hotel is massive - I mean you can get properly lost in it and we did, a lot. The lifts only service certain floors at certain areas. On many occassions the lift opened to leave us staring at new areas and people with beards mumbling about sending for help. It has its own rifle ranges and archery area - indoors. Many bars, shops, amusements, restuarants, pool, table tennis, a gym. A huge swimming pool. Just imagine a really big hotel, then double it a few times. The pool was great (if a little cold), the private beach accessed through a labyrinth of undercover passages was very nice. It has every facility known to man kind. It has a sort of faded glory, and it appeared largely empty. When full it probably resembles a small city. It was good value, the 4th floor room cavernous and clean, the staff very friendly. The kids loved it. Short walk from the Kenting main drag. There is a starbucks next door if that is your thing. Did I mention it was massive?

The variety in food, kind staff, great location

Some staff lift their masks up quickly when they see foreigners which is quite rude and ignorant. Welcome drink cannot be taken away, at a 5 star resort, you would think it can be able taken anywhere or that you can possibly have it brought to you.

We stayed at this hotel in December, and it was great! The resort is massive. Our room was huge, with three big, comfy beds—perfect for our group of five. The private balcony overlooking the garden was a bonus. The outdoor pool was super big, and we had it all to ourselves because it was winter. That made it even better. The resort also has access to a small beach. The water was calm and clean, which was perfect for the kids to swim. The breakfast buffet was amazing—definitely one of the highlights of our stay! The food was super tasty, and the selection was huge. They had everything from traditional Taiwanese breakfast to western foods.

The indoor pool and water park were closed during the off-season.

Very large room with a balcony looking out to sea. Clean & comfortable bed, large bathroom with shower and seperate bath. Room serviced daily bottled water replenished. It's a massive Hotel it's a,resort in itself. We are travelling for a long time and really liked the coin laundry in the basement. Massive pool great for swimming.

The walk up from the underground car park no direct access from the hotel you walk up the access slope and round to the entrance it rained during our stay we got soaked. They need a covered walkway to the entrance.

A peaceful place to relax. I really liked the food, drinks and service in the hotel's restaurants. There is a beautiful park around the buildings, where it is pleasant to walk. It feels like the gardeners are working well. There is a place where lovely deer live. Although not all staff speak English well, communication is not a problem once you're at the hotel.: the hotel team is very helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and very tasty. Cooks and the chef are gifted specialists. In the evenings, good musicians perform in the restaurant.

It would be great if the tunnel to the beach opened at 6:30 in the morning.

The hotel was fine, clean, spacious room and very well laid out. The staff were excellent throughout. The breakfast was good, but not really for westerners. (Not in the UK now, so I shouldn't expect it). The location was very good, set back from the road, so quiet. My highlight, was a restaurant off of a courtyard, that led to the beach tunnel. £2 a pint of local beer, iced glass, and the food was second to none. The restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming (A must, I loved it. Fresh fish, prawns and lobster from the tanks). Main bus stop directly outside the entrance as well.

One thing, it was windy; again, I can't hold the hotel responsible for that. It was out of season, so it was too cold for the swimming pool, i did have a swim in the sea Xmas day though. Beds are too in firm.

The included breakfast was good. They had a lot to choose from. Our kids love the pool and beach access was nice. The play area in the basement was nice too. We like Howard Beach hotel. We payed about 15,000 for our 4 night stay during the week. 2 adults, 4 children 10 yrs and younger in one room.

It really isn't a 5 star hotel, but it is clean and reasonable for the price we paid. I probably would not pay more than 4,000 a night. Both times we have stayed the stopper in the bathtub lets the water leak out while taking a bath so we had to let the water continue to run while in the bathtub.
