We had such a memorable stay at Check Inn Magi in Yilan—especially our kids, who absolutely loved it! The hotel is incredibly family-friendly and thoughtfully designed for little ones. One of the absolute highlights was the facility where kids could choose the vehicle they wanted to drive. Whether it was a mini car, a police car, or a fire truck, it was pure joy seeing them zip around in a safe and spacious environment. It was a unique experience that kept them entertained for hours! There was also a great playground which the kids loved so much. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and fun, with playful touches that made it stand out from typical family accommodations. Everything felt new and well-maintained, and the staff were warm and welcoming. As parents, we really appreciated how the entire experience was geared towards making families feel at ease. It wasn’t just a stay—it was an experience, and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Yilan with kids in tow!

Hands down best kids friendly hotel we have ever stayed in! Easy communication with the staff beforehand in requesting for bed rails (first ever in all our travels) and enquiring about carpark lots and even chargers for electric vehicles. Plenty of kids safe/friendly features in the room - rounded corners, foot stool in the bathroom and PLASTIC cups! Bathrooms were spacious with a generous bath tub. Facilities were top-notch for the kids so no worries even if it rains in Yilan (which happens quite a lot). Kids loved the slide too! Easy booking process for the kids cars and Nintendo switch with the friendly level 2 staff who maintained control and order firmly (kudos when the kids were all so excited)! Daily top up of water and snacks in the room. Location of the hotel is good as well - close to Luodong night market and easy accessibility to Yilan and Taiping Shan. Streets can be a tad crowded and tricky to navigate.

My bed was made the 2nd night but the first. My other room was not made both nights. My safe wasn’t working.

The kid playground is superb and the staffs who stationed at the playground are friendly. Room is spacious with sitting area. TV with multiple channels like Disney+ etc can entertain the kids for hours. There are nearby convenient stores and laundry with night market and good restaurant around.

It will be great if the hotel can offer coin laundry in the premise. Room to have more hooks or hangers for hanging coats and towels, and bigger mirrors. Breakfast quality was good but variety is abit limited.

I was searching for family friendly hotels and considering some much higher pricing hotels like Silk Palace etc, Check inn Magi Kidsl is really excellent for its price. And the facilities like the electric cars for kids and ball pit playground is really good enough. As we are tourist, we couldn't be possibly staying in hotel all day so I feel just nice enough for my girl. Room is comfy with bath tub which the kid likes. Buffet breakfast has a good spread with anti slip placemats for kids and cutleries all ready for the children. Overall all is good!

It will be great if the room can have a full length mirror or a bigger vanity mirror for the adults.

the activities for the kids - AWESOME!! hotel is very near (walking distance) to the night market, lots of good food and shopping. Excellent location. Service is fantastic and rooms were clean and tidy.

car park a bit small - but its ok, we drove a smallish 7 seater. The breakfast though could have been better, with more choices. Otherwise, its ok.

Amazing experience staying here. The play facility was great, and the location was conveniently close to the train station and night market. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. When they found out we were going to Taipingshan, they gave us so much great tips from transportation to preparing food for the trip.

my kids REALLY loved the indoor playground. the location is also near some good eating places and 10min walk away from the night market. would recommend family with kids to stay here!

some rooms come with raised platforms which is not very elderly and kid friendly. you can request for rooms without platforms if you intending to book.

Rooms are spacious and very kid friendly. The 2 floor playarea is a children's dream! Clean and not crowded, something for all ages, even a massage chair for the parents! Also great location in Yilan, only walking distance from Luodong Market and very many shops nearby.

None, everything was great!

It is located 3 mins walk from Luodong train station and 7mins walk from luodong night market. There is convenience store which is only 2 mins away, supermarket is right behind the hotel and a laundry shop that is 5 mins away. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. There is a balcony that offers city view. Good spread of breakfast choices though most dishes are repeated daily.

There isn't laundry service within the hotel itself.

Centrally located, excellent kids facilities, good firm bed with sufficient pillows, good shower! Also loved the kids bath towels, kids bedroom slippers!

There was no driveway nor shelter for drop off… so everyday we needed to use umbrellas when our driver dropped us along the road as its rainy season.
