My wife and I spent just one night at The Secret Garden hotel but we were absolutely impressed by the personal approach and warm welcome delivered to us by the host. He was extremely kind, helped us with sorting out our 4 days safaris, through their Sister company, Nomad Explorer Tours as well pointed us to a great place nearby where we had lunch and went the extra mile so that we feel great. The Secret Garden hotel itself was extremely stylish and cozy, Delicious Dinner and Breakfast - amazing value for money. Thanks Daudi and his team, we will come back again soon

This is a very peaceful place with excellent staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Worth the price you pay. Gave it a 10 because it matches the description they give. The Secret Garden Hotel should be your place, owner Daudi is very friendly and accommodating the rooms also are spacious Not walking distance to town- but easy to get a driver to take you into Moshi .about a 15 minute drive. I highly recommend, I will come back

Small and hidden place and yes it is a very quiet little secret place

The property is away from all the noise of the town but close enough to go to the town by either your own transportation or public transportation, parking is available on site. Although there was no TV in the room, I am Sure you didn’t come this far to watch TV, also no AC but a fan did a beautiful job, you are on higher elevation on the banks of Mount Kilimanjaro so no issues. Breakfast was awesome every morning on time.

Nice clean room and comfortable common areas. The breakfast is fantastic. But, as others have said - what makes this place is Costatin. She is a calming presence and always welcoming and helpful. She is also a great cook. Highly recommend it and being out of town is no problem - it is easy enough to get a dalla dalla to town which 600Tshs .I enjoyed my stay and i’ll come again Thank again Costansia

Very nice place with extremly kind staff, who helped us with everything. The room looks exactly like the pictures, there is a hot shower and Moskito nets. Fresh fruit, Crepe, Toast and Eggs (Omelett, boiled, fried), coffee and homemade juice for breakfast. We had to leave very early but they arranged it for us anyways. The place is a little outside town, but you can catch a Dalladalla to the center (500 TZS), the "bus stop" is directly at the big street and it will take you about 15 minutes.

The staff was really friendly and the pancakes for breakfast were amazing! It's really calm but at the price of being a bit outside (well connected however, we never waited long for the dala dala)

Minor details could be improved, i.e. our mattress was slightly uneven. But nothing major.

Owner was very proactive, good businessman, has a lot of offers for people wanting to book any kind of trip, one day or multi day trips. The hotel was very clean, these people know how to run a hotel. Even small water boiler and tee cups. Very friendly staff, good value for money

This hotel was reopened and is not at the same location and not the same place as in the Google reviews, be aware of that. 15 min by car from Moshi Town. Room was a bit dark

We had an excellent stay! Good price value. Very friendly staff and a nice common area to meet other travellers. Good food. Place is about 15minutes outside of Moshi (road from main road to guesthouse quite bumpy)

Daudi is an amazing guy (hotel manager) very accommodating always there to help and use his company to book all your trips! I done a safari with him he looked after everything really nice guy the safari was brilliant! Hotel was really nice and staff were great

The owner Daudi is very kind and supporting. He is well known how to make the clients comfortable. The staffs are so kind, and the breakfast was above my expectation. As I was with my family I can reccoment this place to go with families, because they have plenty of space for the kids to play and the compund is secure and safe.

Improvement in the bathroom would be good.
