We loved our stay at Brubru! The meals were delicious in particular there were great options as a vegetarian. The restaurant incorporated many thoughtful features like beautiful plating/presentation, complementary bread basket with garlic herb butter, numerous tropics hanging plants for ambiance, and individual coffee plants decorating each table. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming with a relaxing vibe. The garden is also lovely and very peaceful to sit alongside for breakfast and dinner. Very fun selection of local dishes and beverages as well! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the air conditioning was great, making our space comfortable at all times. The hotel is also located nearby the tour agency, Africa Scenic Safaris (really recommend as well!), which was very convenient. Thank you for an unforgettable time in Moshi and this beautiful region of Tanzania.

Bru Bru Lodge is an immaculate property with warm and welcoming staff. The rooms are simple, clean, and have individual air conditioner units and the included breakfast is wonderful. We stayed at the lodge before and after our Kilimanjaro climb and it was a welcome comfort after a week on the mountain. The restaurant onsite has great options and Lulu was a fantastic server who we loved chatting with each meal (we had 8 meals onsite!) I’d highly recommend staying at BruBru during your next trip to Moshi. I would gladly return anytime!

It wasn’t in walking distance to anything.

The lodge is a little oasis of calm in a bustling town. The staff are friendly and attentive, the lodge is well laid out and tastefully appointed. There is a real sense of an attention to the small details. The room was clean, well decorated and functional. The food at the restaurant was also excellent. Could not recommend this place more if you’re exploring the region or climbing Kilimanjaro.

Very little not to like. A hair dryer in the bathroom would be a good addition (I can’t remember there being one, might just be the room we took).

Hotel Restaurant a little pricey, not walking distance to other restaurants. Some mosquitoes in the room everynight, even though the windows were closed. There was a spray in our room for that. Perhaps the hotel should provide nets in the rooms.

breakfast was very good with the independent restaurant located within the hotel itself.

reception staff were great but weren't too sure when asked about local taxis or restaurants they could recommend. Would be useful to have this information to save going online and taking a punt on this yourself.

Our stay at Bru Bru Hotel in Moshi, though short, was absolutely delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room and facilities were spotless, and the food was delicious, exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Moshi.

Brubru Lodge far outshone my expectations. It was clean. All the staff were happy and helpful. The room was fabulous and the food amazing. I will definitely recommend it and will stay there when I return to Tanzania. Asante Sana Brubru Lodge.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike - quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in!!

Modern, clean lodge in a beautiful garden setting. Very safe, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Good WiFi. The restaurant had great food and the breakfast selection was nice. It was a perfect place to stay while hiking in the area.

The breakfast could be better compared to the price we paid! Surprisingly this is the first place I stayed where I needed to buy coffee for breakfast however milk for free :D

We had a great stay. The staff was exceptionally nice and everything was super clean. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. We came here after climbing Kilimanjaro and this was a perfect place to relax. We also had to leave before the scheduled breakfast times, but we were able to eat beforehand.
