The property is well maintained very cozy and comfortable.The staff was on point, professional, friendly and helpful . Dennis, Madu(Moda,🤣) and Rosemary were excellent hosts! Dennis waited two hours for us when our bus was late and even took us to get good food before going to the Inn. Madu prepared our breakfast each morning at 9:00am and patiently boiled my wife's eggs a little longer just the way she likes. Rosemary not only keeps everything neat and clean but she showed us all the good shopping spots near by and happily provided us with extra help whenever we asked. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great opportunity to rest and relax completely. We came as strangers and left as friends. Asante Sana Everyone 👍🏿

I have stayed at The Better Inn twice. The place is really nice and the staff are very kind. I travel with my tent but due to some unfortunate events at a campsite I needed help to repair my tent - they were extremely helpful and found solutions that I hadn't thought about, which I really appreciate. The Better Inn is in a quiet residential neighbourhood that I enjoyed walking around, and it is still close to town. Right outside the gate of the property you have a great view of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). To me the Better Inn is great value for your money, and I will definately stay again if I return to Moshi.

The Better Inn is truly The Best in Moshi! From the delightful ambiance to the fantastic service, I loved every moment of my stay. They turned my time in Moshi into an unforgettable adventure! I can’t wait to come back soon—I’ve really missed paddleboarding, especially since they have the coolest bikes for exploring. Very good breakfast, in lovely surroundings. Served outside on the covered terrace. Comfortable bed, with mosquito net. The accommodation is fairly basic but perfectly acceptable. The shower took a bit of working out, bit leaky, but usable. The staff were brilliant, very attentive. Take advantage of the airport transfer, very convenient. And, if the cloud cover allows, step outside the gate and you get great views of Kilimanjaro...

The place is at quiet location far from noise but not at all far from centre of the town. You can find easily public transport to get were you need. Rooms are simple and clean. Breakfast was very nice and staff aswell. I liked the area outside the rooms. There was enough of space to sit, rest, chill. All workers were kind and willing :).

Great staff! Location was ideal for my stay. Quiet place. Meals prepared fast and great. Hotel was able to accommodate early breakfast request.

Hot shower switch outside the room and needs to be switched on manually some minutes before shower time. Notify staff if showering at odd times to avoid them switching off the hot shower mistakenly.

I booked this spot originally because of the large mosquito nets around the beds. Overall there were not many mosquitos around to begin with. The staff was amazing especially Zedecki. He went out of his way to make sure my clothes were washed and dried as soon as I requested it post hiking up kilimanjaro. He also made my meals any time of the day or night. The owner stopped by and gave me a ride to the public bus station free of charge on my last day which was awesome.

The location was about 30 minutes walking from the city center and the next closest restaurant/bar is about a 15 minute walk.

Lovely staff, able to store luggage and cars during our visit. the beds were comfortable and the prices were right for us for a good budget accommodation very grateful for the bedroom fans and ensuite rooms.

Maybe the suppers on site could have been more tasty, and the drinks colder (though power cuts may have prevented this)

Excellent food options and cooked very well.

The location is off a main road which is positive and negative. The occasional loss of electricity is frustrating.

Every amenities you need for affordable price. Very very nice staff. They rent bikes there affordable also. Nice silent place like 2 km from town centre. By motorbike 5 minutes to centre. Very nice environment and mood there. Great view to Mount Kilimanjaro.

Simple things that have been solved immediately with the staff, no problems.
