A peaceful and beautifully maintained hotel, perfect for relaxation. The Indian food was truly outstanding — some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The swimming pool and gym are both excellent, clean, and well equipped. Even if you don't use them much, it’s clear the hotel takes great care with its facilities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. A small tip for future guests: bring mosquito repellent if you plan to enjoy the outdoor areas like the pool, terrace, or lounge. It helps make outdoor time even more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service, excellent food, and a calm, refreshing environment.

Our stay at the Ameg lodge was great, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfasts, as they had a large variety of food. The pool and fitness center were also great, and the property is a beautiful place to spend time. Thanks!

The Wifi was not great most of the time, and the dinner was fairly expensive. However, there are lots of local places to eat nearby. I recommend the Kuonana and Mimosa restaurants, both within a 10 minute walk.

Rooms were a little dated but every thing worked. Had Good AC and hot water. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant served good food with plenty of choices, prices were affordable. The gym had lots of free weights and necessary equipment, however, the machines are old and some didn't work at all. The pool was open and refreshing. The restaurant staff served around the pool. Our room was upgraded when we arrived which was a great surprise.

Location was a little isolated but close enough to things to do with a car or motorbike. There was loud construction going on in front of our room.

- Junior suite was impeccable. - Staff was very friendly and flexible. - Communication with staff and management was very horizontal and tailored to the guest. - The common areas and garden were very clean. You have good views of Kilimanjaro (on a sunny day) and will spot plenty of local birds. - Offers the possibility to arrange airport transfers and organize day-trips and expeditions.

- Location was a bit far from Moshi town (about 30 minutes walking). Reaching town with a TukTuk is possible and costs about 3000 Tanzanian Shillings. - Eating at the lodge's restaurant was pretty much the only choice available and I was not very fond of the food in general. There were some good meals too, of course.

Amazing staff.....and the view of the Mt. Kilimanjaro in the morning was probably my best feature, simply addictive! I have to specially thank the gateman (unfortunately I forgot his name) for his endeavor to show us great places to see the mountain....lovely chap! All the staff were simply great!

The huge place, the room, the restaurant

Sometimes we seem to bother the staff. Not all the equipment in the fitness room works (no treadmills was working) The price of the laundry is really excessive : 60$ for some clothes… we dont recommande to use this extra service !

Probably one of the best place in town, hence you pay what you pay. Nice grounds in lush garden with well located restaurant and swimmingpool. Restaurant has reasonable price quality but excellent ambiance (lots of indian dishes revealing the owners heritage) It seems that most officials and foreign staff prefer to stay here when need be in Moshi. Efficient staff and really pleasant place to stay.

- place showing some ageing (showers) and hence might be somewhat overvalued in price. - (few of) the staff seem to be ever so slightly showing their focus on tips. The morning of our departure miraculously the cleaner was present before, during and after our check out. Fully understand that a dollar makes a big difference in local people's lives however not returning (ever so small) change at the front desk when paying your bill and then staring you in the eye presumably saying; 'you dont dare to ask that back, do you?' is from my perspective not a pleasant way of saying goodbye. We do know the exchange rate. Just principle.

Such a beautiful location. All the staff were on hand to help with anything needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Very good price too. Would definitely come again :)

The hotel is serene, very clean and deeply beautiful. The service is amazing, responsive and on point. The manager/owner and staff are customer-centric and always serve you will a smile. The food is also amazing. I highly recommend a visit to the hotel.

A very nice and calm place. The five Villas are beautiful and its great with the seating area outside. Interior is nice, the beds are firm and the Roms are spacious. The restaurant is Well kept, with a great breakfast buffet. A supermarket is close by. The pool area is relaxing, gym facilities with everything you Can ask for. And a view of Kilimanjaro if the weather allows it. I will come back.
