This compact, but adequate, room has the best lighting of any hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in. The room has good, quiet air-conditioning, and ours, being a corner room, had windows on two sides with a door that opened onto a small balcony. There were tea and coffee making facilities, and two complimentary bottles of water each day. Toiletries were also replenished daily. The bed was good, very comfortable, not too firm, and the large pillows were nice and soft. Again, the bathroom was small but adequate, with a shower. However, there was no shower curtain, so the bathroom floor gets a good soaking, which is a personal dislike. The shower had hot water, but I found the mixer tap difficult to control to get an even temperature; thankfully, in the end, I managed to master the controls. The rooftop bar is great playing my type of music loud but not unbearably so. There's a great Karaoke night on Saturday., run by a man who is a very good singer. The bar food is good as is the service. The majority of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Every afternoon when we returned the reception staff gave us a small glass of chilled roselle juice, which was very refreshing after a tiring day. We did enjoy our stay here and extended it from two to five nights.

None really except for a couple of small points:- The balcony floor gets wet and can be a bit slippery, caused by the condensation from the outside air-conditioning unit. The room, although stated as having a lake view on Booking.com, did not have a lake view, but did have a good city view. The breakfast could be a little more imaginative.

Great service and staff - sometimes they are TOO attentive! The WiFi CAN be smoking fast but often is difficult to connect to. I think it is not Hadjen’s issue but the provider, but it could be both. Tends to bog down in afternoon/early evening. Good breakfast-eggs to order Other reviewers had complained of noise. I asked for and got a quiet room and didn’t find it that bad, although there was some from nearby construction.

Smallish but well designed room Nice enough balcony, but no furniture so not of much use-I used the desk chair. Not many electrical sockets. Listing says “Airport Shuttle (free)” but the hotel wanted to charge me Ts 25,000. When I asked them to explain what “Airport Shuttle (free)” meant, they agreed to not charge me.

So far the Hadjens hotel was the best stay I had on my trip, at least as was as well the most expensive one. What I liked from the beginning was the friendly welcome at the reception and on my way to my room. The room was well equipped with hot water and pressure. The roof top bar was amazing. The friendly people on top were there again. I loved it how care they provided. My special thanks to Johann ( hope I am right ) the. The new supervisor and George from the bar, for our nice talkings I guess both of you let me extend the stay. Thank you for the great advice and support to find a garage to get my problem fixed, I had with my motorbike.

Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t as stable as expected. The breakfast was well equipped but not with that what expect to eat.

It's very clean and modern hotel. I had everything in my room a nice bathroom kit, and balcony. They also have laundry service, the rooftop bar and very good breakfast. The bad was comfortable and clean. I have stayed for 3 nights and they always cleaned my room.

I Internet wasn't working much. I had problems in any floor. Very low speed and sometimes it couldn't connect at all.

Hajndjens is just newly opened hotel since 4 months, very clean and close to the market. Room was spacious. The stuff were amazing and welcoming you everytime like it's ur first. Will definitely book again with this hotel when am coming back to Mwanza.

The Elevator! Its really annoying, stupid and very slow! On top of that workers use it all the time between the 1st floor (restaurant) and 7th floor (the rooftop bar) so everytime u need to go up or down have to wait like at least 5mnts.

The staff were very nice. The restaurant on the roof had great views and the burger was delicious. It is in downtown so many restaurants and services are nearby.

It is not in the hands of the hotel but there are many construction sites in the area. The noise from those sites is pretty loud, even until 10 pm. The breakfast is otherwise good but lacks fresh ingredients.

Would recommend and stay here again! Good bang for a buck. Nice room (with AC) and bathroom, everything was very clean, everybody was very friendly and attentive, processes were fast, tasty breakfast buffet with a lot of variety and a great rooftop bar with lake (sunset) view.

Be aware that is in the middle of downtown, which means noisy (club and mosques) and crowded / busy area.

The hotel location is in Mwanza city center. Staff is very friendly Breakfast is various Restaurant at the 7th floor has a nice view and ambiance

Outside is noisy, loud music is played every day from close restaurants and club till almost midnight.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the entire place was spotless. The breakfast was varied and the location good for walking to the lake. The roof top bar was superb for relaxing at the end of the day with good views.
