Service is good-the owners are very thoughtful and they even helped us get a ride back to the station We had a hearty meal (with a large variety of thai cuisine) for breakfast plus fruits and thai snacks for dinner Room is clean -we even had the chance to choose where we want to stay The environment is quiet so sleeping is not a problem Room has AC and electric fan and strong hot water The place has a very cute and fun design The location is also good-near the main road and close to the floating market -you can even watch the boats pass by

The atmosphere was so relaxed and the food was lovely. The owner helped me to understand how to assemble an authentic Thai plate of food. Meanwhile there is calming music playing in the background. You can tell this place is managed with some love.

It was a little hard to find.

- if you like antique stuff, this place is right for you - back in time theme - quiet location & walking distance to floating market - great breakfast selection : I really enjoy rare to find menus (ancient Thai food)

Lovely room but The floor of the room is tilted, so plastic bottles roll easily and my sense of balance feels off.

The fabulous thai breakfast is the saving grace for this guest house & sitting overlooking the dirty river with a few boats passing is pleasant in the mornings. The staff are pleasant & did help us with our luggage. Close walking proximity to the Amphawa markets, but they are very basic compared to Chiang Mai or Hua Hin markets. 1 or 2 x nights more than enough here. All buildings here are run down & paths & walkways in need of repair. Dog poo ERVERYWHERE! Old heritage look. Thankfully, we had a corner room which had extra windows, however, most other rooms are quite dark.

The building is in need of repairs. The rooms we stayed in had a sloping fall to the floor & felt weird, which is a little dangerous at night, along with a badly designed step in the bathroom. There is very little privacy & everything here is built right on top of each other. Poor sound insulation btw rooms & the laneway. The curtains did not block out light & there were gaps in curtains & some windows did not have curtains at all, meaning no chance of sleeping in if you wanted to without an eye mask. Mould on grout, btw bathroom tiles in the shower. Mould on the timber window in the shower. TV had NO channels, so why have a TV in the first place 🤷‍♂️😅 Very few power points & some were loose & did not work, so hard to find a spare power point to charge your phone in the room. No power point in bathroom for electric shaver. Cranky badly trained & aggressive dog at the guest house & stray dogs everywhere you walk making it dangerous & you need to be on your guard everywhere you go. Rubbish everywhere & filthy. No one here seems to be house proud or keep maintenance up on their houses & guest houses. Give this area a miss & spend time in either Cha-am or Hua Hin which are both much cleaner & more interesting. For some reason, it was also hotter here than Cha-am & Hua Hin which are also much cleaner. VERY basic 2.5 star rooms.
