It was a lovely experience. Before arriving, the reception staff called to reassure me about the parking arrangements with an electric car and driver at the car park to take care of the luggage and drive to reception. The reception staff are engaging and welcoming with knowledge about any questions. The staff also pointed out directions to the floating market, which was open for dinner as I arrived late in the afternoon. The hotel has a charming character and a historical past, with a museum and a small temple for prayer. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with antique furniture and period fittings in the bathroom. There is a restaurant for dinner and a balcony terrace above for breakfast, both overlooking the river. It was a very pleasant stay for me and I would definitely stay again.

Wifi was not 24/7.

Location is great by the canal but away from the market. Rooms are very nice - quite luxurious Housekeeping is fantastic - only got better at places like Anantara or Oriental Decent Wi-Fi (not ideal for long conference calls but fine for everything else Beautiful and fascinating surroundings - amazing. One of Amphawa’s top tourist attractions in itself. Fantastic (expensive but justifiably so) cafe and restaurant on site. Short walk to cheap eats and drinks if you don’t want to splash out at Aphawa Sri cafe

The two-level rooms with bed loft are suitable for when you want 2-3 beds. As a single or double there is not enough furniture and you are much better off staying in a normal deluxe room (those are excellent). Elderly or overweight people should definitely avoid these rooms!

Nice and cozy room, good breakfast, very nice decoration and delicious food in “Amphawa Sri” restaurant, remarkable museum, and must see jade shiva linga statue.

When I checked out, I was asked if I took the hotel bottle opener with me. I said “no” and there wasn’t any in the room and showed them my bottle opener that I brought from home (I drink soda, so I usually bring my own bottle opener). They said “sorry” but it kinda ruined the whole stay being accused of taking thing that wasn’t there in the first place. Others than that, it was a nice stay.

Beautiful design, amazing details in hotel and room. Friendly staff, especially security guards, very helpful.

Breakfast choice was basic, maybe linked to lower visitor count at our time of stay.

The wall of the room be sun shined day long .It wasted lot of energy of the air conditioning!!!!!! Room 328 We were happy but just remain the idea of saving energy and it costs.
