Breakfast (apart from the hard as old leather bacon) was excellent in both quality and choices. Dinner was also excellent. Wonderful big room in every respect with great bed and bathroom . This was our second stay here this month and latest of many over the years. Every time our stay is perfect. We love this hotel and its staff. Back again in 3 months.

Shower water pressure and temperature could be better.

Have stayed here many times and never had a less than excellent experience. On this occasion I was returning from a pretty rough ten days in the countryside and the Amari was like an oasis in the desert. Hotel is impeccably maintained and staff are both numerous and very helpful. Breakfast was pretty good too. Beds are the best in Thailand. We’ll be back on our next Thailand trip.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bacon at breakfast. It was greatly overcooked, tough and quite tasteless. Amari should really have worked out by now why very little of it is being eaten by guests. However, this is the only thing I can find fault with !

The proximity to airport was fabulous. Just a 5-10 mins walk via sky bridge which is connected from the hotel. The luggage was picked from the room and put in the airport trolley while we checked out. It was super convenient as we were taking early morning flight. We hardly stayed for 12 hours in the hotel so at first the price seemed a bit higher but looking at the comfort it was fully worth it. They gave a complimentary extra bed for our 10yr old child which was very kind of them. The room was decently spacious and lighting was good in the room. Bathroom had all the amenities. The staff was super helpful to guide us what time we should check out to catch the flight, advised on Sim card shop and money exchange near by. At 300 mtrs there is 7 Eleven where you get sim card for just 199bht. So overall we had a relaxing stay and convenient connection to Airport.

After arriving late at Suvarnabhumi Airport and having an early morning domestic flight from Don Muang Airport the next day we need a hotel that was close to the airport and was within walking distance. Took a gamble on The Amari and couldn't have been more perfect. We arrived on the free shuttle bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport in torrential rain, as there was a covered connecting walkway we simply strolled across the road directly to the airport. Only slightly confusing thing is that the walkway is at level 2 ( arrivals level 1 and departures level 2) in Terminal 1, International. To get to the walkway you need to take the lift to level 2. There is a Large sign that says AMARI. Checkout was a breeze and 5 minute walk to international terminal then a further 5 minute walk to Domestic terminal. Will stay here again.

The key benefit of this hotel is its location opposite Don Mueng airport. The hotel is connected to the airport via an elevated walkway between the hotel and the airport. I had an early morning flight the next day and as I walked along the elevated walkway and looked down at the enormous traffic below at 5am in the morning, I was glad I booked this hotel. The hotel even provided a wake-up call service to assist you in waking up early to catch an early morning plane. There must have been good soundproofing as the hotel is near an airport as well as multiple train lines and highways, but I never heard any loud noises at night. The staff were responsive to customer needs eg I had a blocked sink, but the staff fixed it quickly once it was pointed out to them. Also I requested an extra bed via the Booking.com app and it was provided.

We arrived at the Amari hotel at 4 am in the morning because we had a night flight into Don Mueang airport. But even at that hour, there were two friendly and welcoming staff members at the reception desk to check us in. The 6th-floor room we had was amazing because it was so luxurious. I can honestly say that (in 35 years of traveling) the Amari had the most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. Add to that a giant TV with cable channels, a lovely bathroom with lemongrass-verbena cosmetics, a nice fridge and tea bar, and out-of-this-world room service. They even granted us a complimentary 2 pm late check-out to catch up on sleep. In terms of comfort, service and professional hospitality, it does not get any better than this. Highly recommended!

I loved everything.

Location is perfect if travelling to / from DMK. Easy access direct from the terminal. Rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were absolutely fantastic! Friendly & welcoming even when faced with large numbers checking in / out around the same time.

Rooms are undergoing renovation, we had a room that needed just a bit more love (especially in the bathroom). Not a bad stay by any means, just given the prices being charged now (have stayed here over a number of years), didn’t quite feel the room matched the pricing. That being said, have no doubt it will be awesome when finished and would definitely not change my view on staying again as it’s a great hotel,

We stay here whenever traveling out of Thailand for long haul flights because although it's more expensive than other hotels in Don Muang it's got the most comfortable beds (6 on a scale where 10 is a rock and 1 is puffy), an excellent breakfast buffet, pool and exercise room. Breakfast buffet included: indonesian rice with toppings, Thai congee, Japanese Miso soup, Thai dishes, lots of bread choices, coffee/tea/speciality teas, Thai noodles, egg/omelette station, salad bar that included Japanese pickled vegetables, and many different fresh fruits. Pool was clean but the courtyard surrounding it is ugly- no imagination to landscape it well.

Only complaint is the exercise room. Aircon is supposed to come on at 6am but it doesn't automatically- had to call front desk and get them to send a worker to turn it on. Exercise area was very hot because it takes over half an hour to cool down.

Brilliant for DMG. Over the bridge to reception. Prepare for a 5 minute walk each way. GET THE LIFT up/down to bridge level. Booked room only for 2, but solo, breakfast was 450thb extra for 2. I was solo Could not book double bed room for 1 with 1 breakfast. In the evening, Zeppelin restaurant offered breakfast for 250thb. In the morning the menu offered 450thb for American breakfast, 420thb for American buffet. I asked for 'pay for breakfast' 495thb!! Why not 250thb for what I seen last night? Should have taken a photo, maybe time restriction. Do not argue. Breakfast? Western Pork sausage are hot dog (rubber etc). Bacon is well fired. Fried egg is 10 minutes cold and solid. BUT...chef is on hand to cook any type of egg you want!! Poached omelet. Plenty of boiled. Everything looked great. Cereal, juice (not from concentrate) tea n coffee. Fresh fruit, toast, croissants. Thai food plentiful. I was full on departing, then spotted Smoked Salmon, my favourite!!. Should have spent more, more time surfing/minesweeping! Western breakfast needs reviewed with westerners. Bed & shower superb. TV? Only ONYX members get Smart TV, so join before you book, for free. Now you know. Why, if they have Smart TVs does the hotel limit the facility? Left with only Thai channels and 2/3 English speaking news & old film channels. In 2025 why not Youtube/Netflix etc, available for every guest TV? Not just ONYX?? One major problem, old hotel, from lift to room, and back, all floors are carpeted. Very difficult with todays wheely suitcases. Seriously difficult. Pay 20thb to bellboy.

Welcoming, helpful and professional staff. Extremely large and comfortable room. The breakfast was amazing with a large choice from traditional English, to Asian, Continental and pretty much everything in between. Great egg station, cooked to order. The location is superb for the airport. The bridge to the airport is on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the concierge will arrange for your bags to be taken from your room to the bridge making for a seamless step free walk over the freeway to the airport entrance in less than 5 minutes. Airport trolleys are provided at the hotel if needed.
