Staff：Their warm hospitality really impressed me.I’ve been to Thailand four times and they’re the most warm&friendly staff I’ve ever met! Room: I love the layout of this small villa,sleep,work,dressing,toilet…each section has independent space.the traditional style decoration is simple but homely，reminds me of my childood home.the room is very clean，I walk barefoot in room everyday and there were no dust under my feet.Breakfast:the food was okay,but it’s wonderfully pleasing to enjoy the breakfast right next to the garden and pond in the beautiful morning，they also gave me some toast to feed the fish*^_^* Location:it located in a quiet neighborhood,a little far from the downtown.but it doesn’t annoying at all cuz during our two days stay,it’s always easy and quick to get a taxi on app(we used inDrive btw).Me and my bf had a wonderful stay there,I wish we could stay longer.Next time I come to Chiang Mai, I will definitely choose this resort again（＾ν＾）

the tv is a little bit old with limited channels,nothing else

1. The staff will get in to the room put down the mosquito net, in case you attacked by the mosquitoes every evening. 2. The environment was clean and fresh, lots of plants,flowers , just like stay at garden. 3. It’s suitable for kids, there’s a grassland with some rooster and hen,and slide and swing. And swimming pools depth were 1.5m ,85cm,65cm ,you can play with your kids. 4. The interns were passionately and kindly ,and all play with my 2 daughters so I can take some rest😊 5. When we eat our breakfast, the staff give kids some bread to feed the fish,kids love it!! 6. It’s a really nice resort to stay

A little bit far away from downtown.

We had a fantastic week at Oriental Siam Resort! The staff were probably the friendliest we’ve ever encountered and were amazing with kids. Our villa was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, with plenty of plants, trees, and flowers, making it a really pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool and children’s playground were perfect for our toddler. The location was great for us—away from the busy tourist areas but still just a short and cheap taxi ride (15 minutes to the airport and 20 minutes to the old town). We'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful and family-friendly trip, and we hope to return in the future!

Wow! My wife and I were not expecting to find such a jewel in Chaing Mai (well the outskirts anyway). We stayed in one of their villas and have to say it felt like being in our own home - it was SO quiet in the evenings and night we slept very well. The staff waited on us like we had never had before - like having private cooks and butlers. The grounds have so many plants, fountains, and pools. We will return!

Since most things were downtown we did need a Grab or Taxi but they were only US$2-3 each way so no big deal. The solitude outweighs this minor inconvenience.

It was our first stay in Thailand and it was absolutely stunning experience. I'd rather be there for rest of the trip, so beautiful it was. Our vila was spacious, daily cleaned and really nice. If you want to relax, whole garden is like oasis with many spots to sit or lay down. Also there is a tiny gym, spacious enough for basic workout ((without benchpress and squat place) for exc. with your own weight, jumping rope, and there are also 2 multitowers). What I can point out is the owner Nat and the rest of the team, their personal attitude is 5* and we felt literally like at home. Thank you very much for making our honeymoon the best time ever!

It is located at the edge of the city, so everytime you want to visit the city center, or to do anything in the city you have to order a taxi. It is not a big deal, they can order you some, or you can use a Grab app, which is really cheap. But is good to know it. On the other hand, due to that there are no parties, which is a big plus for us and many other people.

Having been four times in Thailand, this was my best accomodation. I stayed here together with my wife and 20-month-old son while working on a project at Chiang Mai University and it was the most magical experience! Originally, we planned to stay only for 5 nights to recover from jet lag and then move to a rented flat but we fell in love with the place and eventually stayed for the whole month. The accomodation is provided in several villas located in a tropical garden with two swimming pools and a pond with a little waterfall. It is a family-run resort, which makes it so much more personal than other places we've been to. Mrs Nat, her relatives and all the staff made us feel like at home making sure that we had everything we needed. The playground has lots of swings and slides and there are many cars and other toys for kids to enjoy. Still the well-designed garden gives you enough privacy so the place is also suitable for anyone seeking calm and relaxing environment. The restaurant provides home-cooked food made from fresh ingredients and they always make sure to recommend some Thai specialities for you to try. I also appreciated all the information and tips for getting around and enjoying Chiang Mai. Overall, we have never experienced this level of care and genuine kindness. I can't be more grateful to Mrs Nat for all the help in the times when my son was sick or I had to leave for a business trip to Bangkok. She even arranged an experienced babysitter from their staff, Da, who my son absolutely adored. When leaving, we already felt like part of the family! We'll definitely book again next time we are in Chiang Mai if the place is free.

This is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai. What a place. Beautiful garden/bush, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, super clean. They went the extra mile(s).

There was nothing that we did not like. The place is not completely downtown, so you need a couple of more minutes to get here, which was worth every minute.

This is by far the loveliest place we've ever stayed in. The family owned resort is beautifully built, surrounded by a heavenly tropical garden. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, the rooms are spacious and the outdoor pool is warm and fun. Most importantly, the hosts are the nicest people and the hospitality is exceptional: Nat and her family and team go out of the way to help out in any way, to the point that you really feel at home. For example of going out of the way, we celebrated our son's birthday in the hotel, Nat bought a cake and prepared decorations just for the event, and celebrated with us. Or, another example- I got sick for a day, Nat and her team prepared special food for me and sent it to my room. Our three kids loved the rooms, the pool , the garden, and the food. Our little one (6) loved feeding the fish in the fish pond. Nat, Pongsri, and the rest of the team- Thanks a lot for a wonderful time!

Nothing. Great place for a family vacation.

We stayed for 7 days and had a great time here. The resort was fabulous and relaxing its about 7kms from the old city but easy to access by taking a grab taxi, which cost 100 to 150 baht approx €2.70 -€3. The taxis arrive within 5 -10 mins. Staff are lovely and very obliging, breakfast is a la carte pancakes, eggs croissants toast and beef chicken stew. Very tasty. You order dinner during the day for that evening, there was a lot of high quality food which was excellent but we ate out a good bit in the night bazaars and restaurants in the city The resort is kept really well and the pool was calm and relaxing with sun.loungers and towels. Our room very large with air con, mini bar toiletries and stocked very well. The WiFi is excellent throughout the resort. Nat is the owner and a fabulous host and is on site all the time. There's a small shop across the road from the resort, there is the Temple right next door. Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely come back and stay if back in Chiang Mai

I think I would arrange my own day trips on klook etc, we had a private driver (Ms Bea who was lovely and had good english) but by Thai standards the cost was a little expensive. I think I didn't plan my day properly and only wanted to go to the Doi Suthep temple but had the driver for the day. It would have been cheaper to book a Grab there and back.

We were so impressed by this place and didn’t want to leave!!! We’d come back any day because… - Nat, her family & the team are the most generous, helpful and accommodating hosts that we have met! They helped with every request we had, called ahead to organise trips, were always up for a lovely chat and even walked us to nearby places. They even helped out with our youngest child in the mornings so we could enjoy a peaceful breakfast! - The place is absolutely gorgeous: an oasis of lush green in the city. Not too many cottages so it never gets loud or noisy. We loved our terrace and enjoyed the beautiful pool view. Our kids loved the pool, the fish in the pond and the playground behind the cottages. - The cottages are spacious and (just like the entire place) furnished and decorated very exquisitely. - The rooms were impeccably clean, every day. - The hotel is near downtown. We used the app “Grab” to hire rides and only paid like 3 Euros to the old city. In general, much to do in the area, we never got bored. - This has easily been the most beautiful hotel on our trip through the country as a family of four - I would absolutely recommend!
