The location is surrounded by many good restaurants for breakfast or dinner. It's right at the main street, so very accessible and at the same time not noisy, because the bungalows are in the back. Very nice garden, comfortable pool area and clean pathways to the bungalow. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions or fixed smaller issues immediately. I like the safety box in the room. Overall I can recommend this resort. The value you get for the price is OK.

The bungalow inside needs some restoration. The floor feels like you almost break through and only the PVC carpet prevents it.The door lock is very tricky to close or open. The first day I didn't know how to release it from inside and needed even to climb outside of the window to open it with my key (😂) I understand why each bungalow has also a safety box, because some of the windows can not be really locked.

Faye Orchid is a charming little complex of bungalows set in a beautifully cared for tropical garden, arranged around a central swimming pool and modest restaurant, which is open from 8am to 5pm. The bungalow we stayed in was simple, but adequate and really good value for money. During our stay the place was peaceful and quiet and the other guests seemed, like us, more interested in chilling out and relaxing than partying. Emmi, who manages the property speaks good English and is both friendly and super-efficient. She can book you trips and taxis and help out with pretty much any problem you might have. She is supported by a diligent cleaning team and the place is really well looked after, even if the facilities in the bungalows are basic rather than luxury. Faye Orchid is in Bailan, a sleepy little village just south of the more lively resorts and bars on Lonely Beach. There is no real beach here, but a range of restaurants and small stores along the road and in the neigbouring resorts. We rented a moped and a couple of helmets which allowed us to explore the island's west and south coast. This is a perfect option if you like to visit the lively spots on Koh Chang but still have a peaceful garden oasis to return to at the end of the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Faye Orchid Garden. We booked for four nights and ended up staying for eight nights! We first stayed in their deluxe bungalow and later in their family room. The hotel is located in Bailan Beach which is a more quiet area of Koh Chang down the coast. The next bigger town Kai Bae is close by and easy to reach by scooter. Bailan beach offers a handful of shops and local good restaurants. Also directly opposite of Faye Orchid is the Coconut kitchen restaurant where you can rent good scooters for 200 Baht per day (and have a nice breakfast). The staff is very friendly and they are always roaming around the property to make sure everything is clean and taken care of. They invested in a nice pool where we spent many hours relaxing. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The family bungalow even overs a bathtub. We highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want peace and quiet but still want to be close to nice beaches and nightlife!

Cute little comfy bungalow with AC and hot water. Nice bed and big duvet. Really nice clean pool. There's a restaurant that said it was open during the day but I never saw anyone cooking or eating. We'd have bought beers and snacks if it was more lively. Unfortunately our AC leaked so we couldn't put anything on that side of the room and we had the room next to the water pump which ran all night which was annoying but nothing earplugs didn't fix.

Great range of rooms available for different budgets. I had the deluxe bungalow and it was perfect for my needs. The room was spacious enough, comfortable, and relaxing with nice barhroom and facilities. Lovely peaceful gardens well kept to enjoy nature sounds while sitting on the balcony or in the room. Nice restaurant bar and pool area with good vibes and nice food. Staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful with anything I needed. Location good at the start of bailan bay with great food options, shopping, massage etc within 0- 5 minutes walking distance and a short 2 km to lonley beach for nightlife and good swimming etc. For the price it was beyond expectations and I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars, highly recommended. All good for the price it was exceptional

- we loved the garden and swimming pool. It is very well maintained and everything is super clean. - the location is good because it's not a busy area but you have some restaurants nearby - the bungalow was clean, AC worked well, and you have a little terrace. Hot water works well too. - fridge and kettle

- the bungalow we had was very small for us, and a bit too rustic for our taste. There was no superior bungalow available when we booked, but I suggest to take a bigger and nicer one if you can.

We had a wonderful stay at Faye Orchid Garden Resort and even extended the stay by two more nights. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing, had a comfy bed and a great pool which was cleaned every morning. They have a few cats around the property that are the cutest, and two of them loved to sit outside of our villa every morning. There are good restaurants nearby and a bike rental place across the road. Owners were lovely and really accommodating, couldn't recommend enough!

It was cheap, bungalow was more than decent for that price, had safe as well. Internet was fiber optic 500/500 which was important for me as I'm working remotely. They even have an old snooker table used for pool in the lobby.

Bailan Beach is only for you if you want a quiet vacation, there is literally nothing to do during the evening/night.

From the moment we walked in, I felt welcome and relaxed. Quite and peaceful atmosphere. Wonderful and friendly staff- always smiling and helpful. Nice garden with tropical plants and flowers. Beautiful pool. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for your money. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous little resort, pretty much had the pool to ourselves - and the pad Thai was excellent! Great value for money on the more peaceful end of the island, close to Nanny's and Lisca beach.

The rooms are a bit dated and could use a bit of love. The shower ran cold mostly but the beds were super comfy.
