Although this hotel is showing its age and desperately needs a fresh coat of paint on the outside....and a bit of work in many places . I found this hotel and it staff to be excellent.....a bit tired but excellent. I always ask myself one question after staying anywhere......would I stay there again.....and the the answer is definitely YES ... Excellent breakfast, large clean rooms,good undercover parking...and excellent staff with quick response to requests....and really good value for money......2200 bht for 2 nights including breakfast....you can't beat that. We liked it so much we stayed an extra 2 nights....it was great....will return.

Nothing worth mentioning.... If I was paying 3....4000 bht a night I could mention a few minor things ...but at these prices ...no way...

We stayed 2 nights in this big hotel en enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room and the bathroom are spacious and clean. The water pressure in the shower is very good. The wifi is very fast, even faster than at home. The breakfast is perfect: enough choices of European and Asian food and you can take it from 6 to 10 am. We ordered roomservice for dinner and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The pool is very nice and located on the second floor. The hotel is located next to a public garden and on walking distance from shops and restaurants. Normally we stay in family-run hotels or B&B’s, but in bigger cities we sometimes choose a big hotel. We are very glad we took the decision to stay in the Loei Place hotel because we had a perfect stay.

Very strange: although it’s a big hotel, the name of the hotel is nowhere to be found on the facade !

very spacious room. Luxurious wooden furniture, despite little not a modern style. Comfortable beds, cool air con. Full facility: hair dryer, warm water, TV, fridge.amenities. Many shelves for keeping things. Clean room, clean swimming pool. Long distance for walking to a convenient store like 7-11, but if you have 7-11 apps you can make delivery order and pick up at the lobby. And FYI, even though it looks old, no scary experience here. No ghosts nor bad dreams. I spent a comfy night.

The hotel was easy to navigate to from the airport. The room was huge. Literaly more than half the floorspace as my house. Pool looked nice but at the end of January it was too cold to go in. Right next to the hotel is a park that a lot of locals use for running, walking and other exercise. Walk over the bridge by the hotel, cross the street and 30 meters to the right is a road dedicated to street food booths. There’s also a brewery there with a good selection of beer on tap. Hotel breakfast was okay. Buffet if there are a lot of customers or if not then a choice of Thai or western breakfast.

Ignore the negative reviews (crazy talk) people need to review based on star rating and price etc.This hotel was in a great location with a big bedroom (we booked this) the staff were friendly the breakfast was very reasonable as the cost each night was VERY cheap The only negative point was not having a kettle in the room so we could not even buy our own coffee or tea to drink.THIS NEEDS CORRECTING

Breakfast has something for everyone. Bread and croissant especially good. Kitchen and service staff exceptional and replenish dishes with fresh/hot food immediately. Christmas decorations and music so good we stayed an extra two nights. Reception staff are also excellent. Overall cleanliness and in good order. Even the swimming pool has beautiful flowers and all necessary emergency equipment. Fabulous.

The international type of breakfast was very pleasing and had enough basics and variety. For the price. The hotel is definitely deserving the definition of palace by it’s past grandeur and size which when this building was designed in the 1950’s must have been the best of it’s kind and still is, in a Thai provincial setting. The update of bathroom facility in this hotel has been well thought. While the quality wood furniture now adds to its typical period charm. The wel kept swimming pool certainly deserves a dip, not to forget the surrounding park which is worth a peaceful stroll leading to the river nearby.

A proper changing room for the swimming pool could be welcome. Although several showers and toilets are present On the premises.

Breakfast must paid extra THB 200, I didn't join it, but my friends, and my family join it, is normal breakfast, just THB 200 only, what you want to expect?

It has a good cost performance, everything is quite perfect, the room rate is quite reasonable, what to expect more than that under this kind of suitation.

Well located. Friendly staff and vey clean. Beautiful lobby and sitting area. The buffet was fine.

Coffee maker in room would be nice. Inadequate loungers at the pool and no umbrellas. Gym had no water or towels or disinfectant. Espresso at the buffet would have been appreciated.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I cannot fault it. The entire hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. I will be using it again

The only negative is that there were no cereals for breakfasts and even though my daughter is Thai, she does like her cereals in the mornings so she was rather put out as she had to eat traditional Thai food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
