This small hotel feels like home in a big, beautiful garden. The room was very spacious, with a big covered terrace with magnificent views. The bathroom was very clean. We enjoyed the infinity pool at the sunset. There are many cozy corners where you can rest, read, have a drink… all is very beautifully designed and stylish. We also enjoyed the dinners at a pond or on a portico. The hotel organised great trips for us with a driver. The coffee plantations and coffee villages. The spa massages were very healing…. End everybody is soooo kind and smiling. We loved the place

I booked bamboo cottage unit with bathtub and minibar but was given unit with no bathtub or minibar. Reception said it was booking.Com problem and was told that bathtub only for mountain cottage, not bamboo cottage. However I saw most other bamboo cottage units do equipped with bathtub, except my unit..... Most disappointed as I planned to enjoy the bathtub. Felt being discriminated as we were the only Asian guest on that day.... Attitude of staff is questionable when he said I can always complain to booking.Com because they had the right to allocate unit which is different from the one booked with booking.com... Perhaps booking.com needs to make sure property provide unit exactly as per description of unit booked.

What a wonderful resort! We had a Family Room and Mountain Cottage. Views from the rooms, breakfast, dinner, and everywhere we amazing. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, including airport pickup and a one day tour of the Doi Tung area by van. They even took us to the Hill Tribes coffee shop (same owner) about 15 minutes away which had more wonderful views. Excellent food, varied menu, plenty to do. A perfectly quiet and relaxing get-away with immersion in nature but very comfortable.

This place is paradise. Lots of bamboo buildings amidst gardens, fantastic views over hills and mountains. Lots of options at breakfast and for dinner (though for the latter, as in most places, not quite enough vegetarian options). Staff were all very friendly. The location is fairly isolated, but the resort itself is just a wonderful place to relax in a scenic, unpressured environment in the midst of beautiful gardens. Nice experience one day when a horse-riding monk from a nearby monastery turned up to collect offerings and bless the place.

It's a fair drive to get there, and at the end signposting is not great. There are also some marked walking trails, but again the signposting could be better and we got a bit lost. It is some drive to other restaurants, so the temptation to eat every night in Phu Chaisai's beautiful outdoor dining area is very great!

Food at the restaurant : Too Many DEEP fried dishes. I would enjoy more curry stew /stir fried dishes. My room was a king with a balcony and hot tub on the balcony - the water in hot tub is running too slow and unable to fill the bath ( filled the bath only half full as water runs slow and becomes cold ). So it is not possible to sit in hot tub fully immersed in warm water .

Amazing garden on the top of the world!!! The bedding linens were amazing quality! The place is very spiritual and makes you feel loved! The sunrise is breathtaking and the sunset while sitting in a tub on your balcony is very relaxing! The restaurant cooks very flavorful northern Thai dishes and serves amazing refreshing cocktails! The Hills Tribe Cafe nearby belongs to the same owner and is an extra bonus to your trip! Must visit!!!

beautiful and peaceful hotel in an exquisite location. we loved sitting on the balcony watching the sunset over the mountains- a truly special experience. the food was delicious. kind and attentive staff

during our stay the pool wasn’t in use. it was a shame for us as it was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. we were very grateful that the staff arranged for us to visit a swimming pool at a hotel next door.

Location,, view, sunrise view, sunset view, fresh clean air, being on the balcony enjoying the view and air, breakfast (with view, great food), dinner (very fresh salad from local farm, good pizza, cocktails), atmosphere (many plants and flowers), mu krata (barbeque) on open terrace; was our 2nd time, not the last; also great view, btw

Dinner is a bit expensive (for Thailand). Pool water a bit cold; had to leave when booking ended :); would be nice to get separate blankets on bed, since no twin room option seems to be available

Our stay at the resort felt like a glimpse of paradise—glorious views, welcoming staff, and exquisite food made it truly unforgettable. Nestled in the mountains, the resort was simply breathtaking, a perfect blend of Thai luxury and nature.
