Super hotel located quite far outside the main town. A long wait for a tuk tuk but we had a car so no problem. I think the view is the best of all hotels by the river. Very rural and the mountains across the water were stunning. Room was very comfortable and well laid out - and the bathroom spacious. Everything worked. The chez longe next to the picture window was a nice design touch. The balcony very small but actually perfect as with the glass door open the air con cooled down the balcony too. Pool on roof is stunning as usual the view from it. Can’t fault the hotel if you have transport. Breakfast was delicious.

A small thing and a gripe I have with many hotels - please please put mugs in the room and not tiny cups. One gulp of tea or coffee and the cup is empty.

A massive room with breathtaking views right along the Mekong from our room balcony. Stunning. Food was good and prices for drinks modest - unlike so many hotels who mark-up prices by several hundred percent, We left our car in the car park which was safe, and our thanks to the hotel staff for allowing us to leave the car there for one night whilst we were in Laos to obtain a new visa for Thailand. It is quite a long way from the Friendship Bridge but it is the best hotel in town for sure. Did not use the pool or other facilities, but would stay there again for sure. Delightful staff, and magnificent / stunning views!

Hotel, Facilities and Location are great. River view room is large and spacious. Bathroom was spacious with separate bath tub. Hot Water problems in this room on 6th floor so had to endure cold showers. Hot water would take forever to flow and then very hot for about 1 minute then cold water. Disappointing as the hotel and room was very comfortable. Would I stay here again??? Only if the hot water issue was resolved.

Nearly everything about the hotel is brilliant. Breakfast is very good but it would be nice to have a little bit of variety every other day. Some nice cheeses and a few mini rolls and wholemeal bread served would be great. The outside could do with a few parasols scattered around. Staff are brilliant and helpful and always the same staff every time I come here.

Nothing not to like.

Timeless charm. Look beyond the decor which may appeal to a different style or taste but the place, the spaces, the staff, the breakfast, the views, all were spectacular. The pool was particularly impressive, an infinity pool at the river's edge!

I always want a bigger GYM or a collaboration with a local gym. Still, Mukdahan has a couple that are cheap and great so it is solved but a collaboration would show the hotel cares about that.

A fantastic hotel. Modern with good facilities, great rooms and fantastic views of the Mekong. At the same time maintains a lovely character which feels very fitting for its Mekong/Indochina location. My favourite accommodation so far on this trip - I wish I had stayed for more than 1 night. If you do stay - I recommend visiting the fantastic Phu Manorom. The temple has now been constructed and is lovely - as are the views. The hotel can arrange a samlor or taxi (which you can ask to bring you back too).

The location of the hotel by the river was very good. The breakfast was good and the meals ordered on room service were also good. There was a mix of Thai and European dishes.

It was difficult to find a good eating place or cafe outside the hotel. The hotel could supply better coffee in the rooms - the standard 3-in-1 sachets would be okay.

Great location with awesome sunrises from the balcony if you wake early enough . Clean tidy rooms which looked fresh and well keep.Friendly helpful staff. Restaurants nearby and good parking.Can’t complain at all really for the price as it was excellent value

Large room, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, excellent location with views of the Mekong. Breakfast was very good. Swimming pool was clean and large enough to swim.

Not much but pillows were a large somewhat uncomfortable. WiFi a little weak but that seems to be the case for any place along the Mekong.

Beautifully decorated hotel with good views overlooking the Mekong. Very good selection for breakfast with very efficient staff. Good sized pool. 5minute walk along riverbank to Indochinese market and a pleasant walk the other way.

Shame balconies not big enough to sit on.
