Gorgeous hotel and such a good price for a 5 star. The bed was huge and so comfy, bathroom was spacious and fresh towels were always provided. The small kitchen facilities were good and you could request equipment to do your own cooking, filtered water was also provided everyday. Breakfast was amazing with so many options, lots of Japanese cuisine but great continental options too with lots of fresh fruit and lots of drink choices and staff were always very friendly and helpful. The pool was great, quite chilly but nice to cool off and loved people watching and looking out to sea and was always pretty quiet. Location was good, very close to the waterfront and night market and walking distance to most places in town but they also provided a free tuk tuk service during the day which was great.

Could hear loud music from nearby clubs at night despite being on a high floor Laundry cost nearly £20 for a handful of items but I should have asked for prices beforehand and maybe gone to a local laundromat instead

Fabulous breakfast & restaurant - a highlight. Loved the gym & pool. Comfy bed. Good aircon. Good view (seaview). 88 TV channels. Support staff professional & friendly. Quiet. Central -can walk to 7-11, restaurants, massage, banks, money exchange, Koh Loi & boat to Koh Si Chang. Location!

Very busy (500 guests +, 100 @bfast , school hols)...so a bit impersonal. Many different rotating staff @ reception with very poor English. Communication & getting info/help very frustrating. Si Racha is not used to entertaining English speaking tourists!

We lived in this hotel for about a month. In terms of price/quality ratio, this is one of the best hotels in Thailand. It has everything you need for a long stay. The rooms are very cozy, with a beautiful view of the sea. The interior is designed in a marine style, the room has a small kitchen and a washing machine. Cooking utensils are available upon request. The hotel has a good gym and an infinity pool. Breakfast deserves special praise. It has a wide variety of items to suit every taste. More importantly, there are healthy food choices. I would like to convey a special thank you to the person working at the egg station. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name, but he worked almost the entire time we were there, from mid-April to mid-May. We have never seen a chef in any hotel who does his job with such quality and consistency. Thank you.

In my opinion, the mattress is quite hard and the pillows are not the most comfortable. Although I still got enough sleep, so it’s not critical. Some treadmills in the gym are electrocuted :(

The staff were all fabulous. Pool was beautiful, restaurant great. Easy walk to sea front and "healthy park" plus loads of restaurants and shops through the back gate. Supermarket and 711 right at the gate. The food and clothes markets in the street next to 711 kick off at 5pm everyday. So location is as good as it gets. Drinking water supplied every day. We had a washing machine in our room but nowhere to hang clothes to dry which was odd.

Great location, very good view, excellent breakfast, very nice services and grounds. Honestly it's one of the best stays I've ever had. On global standards it's so good for price. Thai standard it is comparatively expensive but when you stay here you see it is actually quite low price as it's extremely high standard for $60usd a night.

Fire alarm went off and walked 35 floors before finding out the alarm was a drill 😞

Breakfast was great. The egg grill and cappuccino machine were highlights. The location was a good one but at least 40 minutes from a nice beach. Lots of food options with at least 3 malls which the hotel would secure transportation. The balcony and view and three bathrooms for a family of five was outstanding! I was pleased with the Christmas decorations. They did that well.

Sausage cooked a bit more for breakfast bacon cooked a bit longer. Spa (massage) services would be great. There are many in town and very close however there are SO many, you can’t be sure what is reputable.

Spacious, clean bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and great water pressure in the shower. Facilities were fantastic, we used the pool and the pool table frequently. Also stunning views from the rooftop bar and the 24/7 happy hour on spirits & mixers if you join their rewards programme (free to join) was a good perk. Also great location to get around and see things.

Sometimes the lift system was a bit off and it could take ages for a lift to come.

- It's Highly recommended for who's looking for a calm. - Friendly & Professional Staff. - wonderful infinity pool connected to the Jacuzzi. - Breakfast was delicious & variety and have indoors & outdoors tables. - Cozy & lovely room I had with wonderful sea view. - Lovely terrace in from the reception. - Many Local & Japanese restaurants around 4 minutes walk. - Many Local shops & close to a mall (within 5 Minutes walk).

- The Wi-Fi could be better. - not a disadvantage, but i would be better to keep the control of Curtain & Lights electronic.

From checking into leaving the staff and service were exceptional. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast had every option you could imagine and extremely good quality! the rooftop bar has the most wonderful views of the city and the mountains. We ended up returning the Oakwood at the end of our 3 weeks stay in Thailand. The location of the Oakwood is also superb! (and you can never get lost because it's one of the tallest buildings.....just look up!)

If anything, the fact you had to request things like cutlery or wine glasses was the only SLIGHT nuisance we came across although staff were quick to bring upon request.

Amazing hotel! Hotel staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included and had a good choice of items to eat. The honey was so beautiful and fresh, I've never seen anything like it. A lady called AM who is the restaurant manager was so lovely and friendly. The room was a great size, two big single beds, kitchen area, large bathroom with walk-in shower and a balcony overlooking the city. Great view from the infinity pool and the view from the rooftop bar was outstanding! They have a karaoke bar, a golf station and also a gym. Close to a shopping mall and a nice food market. The price was perfect for our stay. Overall a great experience and would love to visit again.

Only downfall was you can't take bottled water to the pool area and have to buy it from the snack bar. You'd think bottled water would be acceptable.
