The 100 Islands Resortis amazing. It is an oasis in the city. It has a beautiful pool and even chalets on stilts around a rice paddy. I suspect those rooms are more expensive than the ones in the main hotel where I stayed. I paid only 850 baht and that included a fantastic, very fresh breakfast. The decor looks a bit 1990s, but it is very clean and well maintained. I saw people complaining that there is nowhere to eat. But there is a restaurant and coffee shop in the parking lot. The Lotus mall across the road has a very good food court, and of course there is the supermarket. There is also a KFC, Dairy Queen, and Pizza Hut in the mall. The breakfast at the hotel has lots of choices. Mainly Thai, but the food is so fresh and tasty. For fussy foreigners there is toas and spreads, fried eggs, and deep fried dough. There is an automated Nescafe coffee machine.

Amazingly beautiful pool, very quiet, superfriendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, you receive a free bottle of water every day and a fresh towel (if you like)

the place is a little bit outdated, a few areal parts are not in use anymore, which is a pitty. The pool definetly lacks some deckchairs. (only regular chairs). its very out of town, so you need a vehicle to go to town. a few streetfood stalls and local restaurants are nearby though.

The value for what we paid is superb! The pools are very nice, the rooms are very comfortble with a fridge and free water included. We also got a free room upgrade, with a better view of the pool. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The location is OK, not much around but there is a mall just across the street!

Unfortunately the receptionist did not speak English too well, but with the help of Google Translate we overcame that problem. The breakfast was not great, and unfortunately there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, but the mall is very close.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The price included breakfast. While they did not have a dinner service there were a couple of decent restaurants literally outside. The location was perfect for our trip plans so can’t comment on the location in general. It is not in the city centre but is on a main road to access to the city is easy. We liked it so much we stayed there again on our return journey.

The pool is beautiful and refreshing, the grounds surrounding the pool are beautiful. Our stay was so comfortable that rather than go an explore further we were more than happy to just sit, relax and enjoy the ambience.

It's not that we didn't like what was on offer. However, if you're looking for a more Western styled breakfast, this probably isn't the place for you. Some of the restaurants are a little further away, but for the price of this hotel, I would highly recommend it.

I had read some of the reviews for this Hotel, which weren't overly positive therefore I was undecided about booking, but decided that it was a lay over stop, so at worse it would be cheap & cheerful. My experience was very positive. The rooms were a good size. The mattress/sleep quality was divine, I had an excellent Nights sleep. There was hot water in abundance in the shower, which has been lacking since coming to Thailand. The Hotel was spotlessly clean. The Hotel has a lovely swimming pool. The receptionist, I did not take her name was very pleasant, she helped me with a booking. The Hotel is opposite a shopping mall, there was a review which stated you had to walk far for food, which is an untruth there is a Shopping Mall across the road, more or less opposite the Hotel, with multiple food options, you can also use Grab for food delivery! The Hotel offers a simple but adequate breakfast, note the word simple to start your day off. The Hotel frontage is quite opulent with a grand staircase, wood flooring with large comfy sofas. I would say the Hotel is what you would call traditional, period as opposed to contemporary, modern. Would I return, yes 100%

As a tourist travelling in Thailand, areas have been adapted so the tourist can negotiate their way around with ease, money, food, translation etc. Surat Thani is a Thai community, very little has been adapted for the Tourist, but none the less help is there if needed.

Amazing value for money. Super clean, Basic breakfast, but that was perfect for us. We don’t need more. The pools were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The service was great. Great location, 1km from central plaze, 5km from the nightmarket and other attractions.

Only thing that annoyed me was the overly noisy cleaning girls, chatting, playing with phones and cleaning with force.

Very friendly and helpful staff, I ask her for a pool view and she change room for me for free(same type) and I also like the breakfast, they had Kanom jean in the morning which is really nice.

The furniture is a little bit old. And some of the public area should clean such as a huge lamp in the ballroom.

Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, all very clean. Fantastic garden landscape and wonderful entrance area. Two great pools, one next door in the rice field with loungers, the other in the jungle garden's shade. Excellent breakfast with a large, delicious selection of Thai dishes. Very friendly and helpful team. Absolutely great and skillful massage, thank you! high recommendation.

The breakfast had more variety than other hotels in its price range . I liked especially the Thai traditional sweet rice The room we had was huge, clean and the lobby was impressive thai decor. The swimming pool was designed based on a natural rockpool .

The only thing was it has a spa on site, we visited during a very quiet period so they were not able to accommodate two people for treatments at same time . I am sue this would be different during peak holiday times.
