Nice relaxing resort, this is more eco friendly as opposed to a modern beach resort. Staff are extremely friendly and room and restaurant very clean. We slept well and it was a comfy stay. We stayed 5 nights which was perfect for us due to being in such a remote area and limited restaurant choices etc. Staff were very helpful when booking transport. There are also bikes available completely free of charge. Interesting resort built on lakes and lots of wildlife fish, birds and rabbits!

We felt it was very remote and maybe should have checked this before we booked. You can get a car into Trat for 250 THB each way and the hotel is very helpful when booking.

The view from my room and feeling of privacy. Had my own little island. The room is spacious. I love that the breakfast was very thai and healthy. Gluten free options (no gluten free bread or soya milk) although i didnt requested but they had rice porridge and rice based things. Vegetarian and pescatarian friendly i had porridge with fish and seafood with noodles. Papaya salad good. The beautiful mangrove and nature. I didnt had time to go to poool or see it as i arrived very late. Taxi van driver of hotel is very kind I arrived very late to hotel about 10pm and only had had breakfast only he made a stop so i could buy dinner and then drove me to hotel i thought that was really thai kindness that i have seen in the hotels and country. It is a gem. There were also free bicycles to use around but again i didnt had so much time. Its perfectly quite at night to sleep. Felt very safe. I thought it was cool they also have big fashion purse to borrow you for the pool. My room had 2 AC so it was quite chilly and they operated well.

Well the cherry on top could be to have better shower cap.

I have stayed here 4 times before 2007 2009 2010 and 2013 Then it was good but getting old This time very surprised . All changed . Everything new . Absolutely fantastic Staff are friendly . English not that good but I speak Thai so OK The bungalow was simply superb . Very quiet With the location you need to have a car (or motorbike) to get around . I have car so OK Traffic in Trat and surrounds very light so very easy Just over an hours drive to Had Lek .Some nice beaches on the way to have a relaxing lunch on the beach , Ban Chuean beach recommended About halfway between Trat and Had Lek The resort is a great place to have a relaxing 3 or 4 or 5 days

Awesome place in and around a lagoon-style lake, very big but pretty quiet and peaceful for this size. The in-lake-villas are arranged on a nice little island and do not disturb each other at all. The resort's excellent restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes and a wide selection of very creative drinks. With its serene setting, lovely accommodations, great dining, and hassle-free parking, Banpu Resort is a perfect getaway for us and we definitely return.

A beautiful modern resort, exquisitely placed on the edge of a mangrove grove. Very pleasant rooms built over water. And lakes and walkways everywhere. Extremely pleasant. Really excellent food. Nice pool, which I had to myself. Very good breakfast in a lovely setting. Far from the madding crowd. Very. Obliging staff will run you into Trat (13km) for a sweaty provincial day.

Well, it's basically a conference centre. Very isolated unless you have your own transport, and a 1h drive from Trat airport. The hotel will pick you up from the airport, but it will cost you. Nothing to do except stop and meditate. And do karaoke. Little possibility of reaching a village on foot. Too hot, too far. I was there at the start of the season, so it was very quiet. What it's like with 200 conferees in attendance is likely less peaceful. Lots of TV channels, all in Thai.

The hotel is set in the countryside so it’s nice and quiet. We got the wooden cottages hanging over the lake. Rooms were clean and spacious. The outdoors is nice, many flowers, vegetable beds and fruit trees. I think the restaurant sources most ingredients from the on-site farm. The meals were delicious and well priced. We enjoyed taking walks in the mangrove swamp, feeding the fish and cycling. There’s a table tennis facility, a gym and small pool. Although there are kayaks, there was no staff to help so we didn’t try them. Overall good experience.

While booking we were under the impression that it was a small resort, but it turns out to be a huge compound with alt least 50 rooms and lots of meeting rooms. But it never bothered is though. You can have nice walks through the mangrove and the swimming pool was good. Nice spacious rooms and the beds were ok but not great. We were aware that we are in the middle of nowhere but we thought we could rent a scooter like in the rest of Thailand but that is not possible! Bycicles are free but with 35 degres not so much fun. There is a place only 2 km far were you can go with a boat through the mangrove and that was great. Overall it was a nice stay

The quality of food was good but the lady behind the counter at the restaurant should look for a different job or spend the time she is on her phone to learn English so she can get the orders right.

The new concrete bungalows are the best. Dont stay in the old smelly rooms/ bungalows. Ask for the new ones where the new pool is and restaurant. The food at the restaurant is exceptional. High quality and delicious. Please walk opposite the restaurant area to the other side of the water and feed grass to the 20 rabbits.

The rabbits didnt have any food or water. Staff should look after them better.

This is a complete resort built on a large area that offers many places to walk through gardens and the coastline. Free bikes are available if you prefer to ride. The staff were very helpful. Our room was enormous, the size of a small apartment. The onsite restaurant/cafe offered great food. The internet was reliable. The swimming pool was large and clean. There is a fitness centre (we did not use). This resort is excellent value for money and quite close to the ferry piers for access to the islands off Trat

Nothing comes to mind. We will definitely return to stay longer at the property.

I had the pleasure of staying at Banpu Resort Trat on my recent vacation, and I can't help but share an extremely positive experience. Since our arrival, the resort staff has been welcoming, friendly and always available to listen and satisfy our requests. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clean, and the comfort of the bed ensured a restful sleep each night. The resort is surrounded by a lovely green area, and the location is perfect. The walk through the mangrove forest on the walkway, the bar and restaurant by the lake with the picturesque walkways that allowed us to discover hidden corners and breathtaking views was enchanting. The breakfast buffet offered by the resort was plentiful and varied, with a wide choice of both local and international dishes to suit all palates. Also the restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offered a wide selection of delicious dishes, with fresh and quality ingredients. In conclusion, my stay at Banpu Resort Trat was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday surrounded by nature and a welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to return in the future!
