Excellent location in the old part of Trat by the canal, very quiet and friendly area, quick to walk to the night market and other restaurants. Guesthouse room as described - large, hot water, fan-cooled, with a mini fridge/freezer. Clean room and soft towels, water, soap provided. Staff helpful and arranged shared taxi collection on time in the morning - good English spoken.

Mattress had clean fitted sheet only and pillows, no oversheet. This is quite common in Thailand. Blankets were there, but not needed on this stay.

We stayed in the family room with our children, which has 2 bedrooms and a balcony. We liked the room as it is spacious, clean and location is great as well. It is central but in a quiet street. On Saturdays on the parallel street, they have a very nice local night market with life music and good food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For the price, what you get is extremely good. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. Only with power outlets we had problem. They are very old hence our laptop adaptors did not match.

We'd be typing for a long time if we put down all of the things we liked about this place! Although keen to get to the Islands we extended our stay here. Perfect host. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble and very clear about everything. Extremely helpful and informative. Booked our trip to Koh Kood through the Guesthouse and all arrangements were perfect. Great breakfast. Great bed & shower. The room had a great cosy/homely feel as did the whole place. Peaceful and quiet despite being minutes from the centre. Beer on site and a 7/11 just around the corner. No problem if you want to consume your own takeaway food on the premises. Room cleaned daily and fresh water provided daily. Excellent value for money. Thank you so much for a great stay.

quiet place, clean rooms, nice landlady who is happy to help with everything. I had no problem booking a ticket to Koh Kood directly at the hotel and she also gave me a ride on her motorbike to the shop for bottle of wine and gin:) the city center is a comfortable walk away.

Kan is lovely, friendly, helpful and speaks good English. The room is large as is the bed and spotlessly clean. I was able to buy the ferry ticket there for 350B and a songtheaw was 100B. Kan did all the arranging.
