For the price, it's outstanding. Location is fantastic - everywhere we needed was in walking distance, a taxi rank spitting distance even though the hotel is within the walls of the old city which has restrictions to many vehicles. The staff were amazing, Sebastian & his team often would go out of their way - within a couple days they'd know what we liked and would deliver a drink before we'd even sat down! Some of the drinks were out of this world, and the staff would sometimes go mad with extras which made the holiday special. Food was great too, evening meals were very good quality and we chose to eat there more than the local restaurants in the end. Comfortable rooms with Air Con (even in March we needed it) and cleaners did a great job changing towels, making beds each day. If you want a hotel for sightseeing and short walks, this is ideal. Even for our day trips picking us up by bus from "Hadrian's Gate" would only be an 8 minute walk. Top of town (modern part) just 9 minutes walk.

Minor things really... Was out of season in March, the pool was empty (wasn't made aware at point of booking) - but weather not warm enough to be used to be fair. The budget room we had was small, two people in the bathroom almost impossible and only one side of the double bed accessible. The other bedroom (deluxe) was top floor, a lot of stairs. Not ideal for everyone, but balcony/view made up for it. Thankfully staff helped with suitcases. Occasional sewer smell, on the street more so which seems quite common on such old locations, but also one of the rooms had an issue twice - but only for a short time.

Breakfast not aimed at the British Typical Nickel & Dimming at Breakfast No Juices or Water Served and the Coffee not good, if if you want a proper cup again you have to pay up. Weirdest thing is the notice in the lobby, Breakfast if not booked is 50 TRY but an Orange juice is charged at 90 TRY ???

Everything was brilliant. The hotel is really nice and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was superb, right in the old town and just up from the marina. The buffet breakfasts were good and the staff are great at looking after you with endless Turkish tea and coffee. My room was great, it was in the roof and had a balcony which I wasn't expecting. I was able to watch the sunset from the balcony every evening whilst House Martins buzzed and tweeted all around me. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again if I'm in Antalya. Fantastic!

The only thing that I wasn't expecting was that the pool is not open until 1 April. I must have missed that.

Absolutely stunning hotel, incredible value for money - it was so much better than I expected! I had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the old town and the harbour. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. Perfect for immersing yourself in the old town and feeling more involved in the culture of the area. Easy to wander the local streets for food, drinks and sightseeing. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Some larger vehicles can’t make it to the hotel as it’s inside the old walls and the streets are narrow, so I had to walk there down cobbled streets from the main road after being dropped off with my heavy luggage from the airport. There’s no elevator and lots of stairs at the hotel, which is fine but wouldn’t be ideal for people with mobility issues.

I gave a 10 for this property because it deserved it. I loved the location. The room and the services. Everyone running the hotel were super friendly and always helpful

There is a lot to love about the Dogan. The location in the heart of old town and by the harbour is spectacular. The building is quirky, characterful and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and light and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfy. The pool looked lovely but due to the time of year was closed during our visit.

There were a lot of steps and stairs everywhere. It rained a lot during our visit and there was no way to get from our room to breakfast without going outside. Breakfast was not to our taste. None of the above stopped me loving the hotel and I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Being a solo traveller I found this hotel to be perfect , the location was my main reason for choosing the hotel which was perfect . Staff were all so friendly and courteous, their friendliness came naturally not because they had to I feel . I was looking for advice as my onward journey included using the buses and the manager Serhat was amazing , nothing was a problem for her , and she did it all with a smile . Thank you again Serhat x

I can't say there was anything i didn't like, as I was a winter traveller I didn't need to use the pool but I think in the summertime with the number of rooms this pool could prove too small

Amazing location and the facilities are amazing. It’s such a close walk to the port, the old town, restaurants and there is a taxi stand right outside. The staff are always willing to help and are very friendly. They are at the desk 24/7. The rooms are very cosy and our balcony had an amazing view. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s such good value for money. They also provide you with beach towels. There is an amazing pool, restaurant and bar.

There’s not much that I didn’t like. The only thing I would say in our room you could hear a lot of the party road from our vent until about 4am everyday.

I recently stayed at the Dogan Hotel for a few days with my mum and sisters, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist who took the time to explain everything to us. The manager was also incredibly kind, offering my mum and sisters a seat while we checked in, which made us feel valued. The atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, and the staff were exceptionally nice. Miss Cigdem greeted us every morning with a smile and always asked if we had any issues. Whenever we did have a concern, she resolved it swiftly and efficiently. Mr.Sebahattin was equally caring and made us feel right at home, as did the other male manager who’s name I forgot he was very lovely to speak to. Breakfast was a lovely buffet style, and the girls working there were always helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed to start our day. Additionally, the hotel’s location is fantastic, situated within walking distance of many key attractions, which was very convenient for our sightseeing plans. Overall, I highly recommend the Dogan Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

We had a great stay, the staff were very helpful and attentive, especially during our late check in and meal times. The location is also excellent, near sights and public transport. The bed was really comfy and we never had any issues with the wifi connection. We were lucky to have a room with a terrace and partial sea view. Great choice of food for breakfast with fresh pancakes and omelettes and dinner. We really recommend.
