What a fantastic holiday my wife and I had at Cundavilla Hotel….. A beautiful little hotel, right on the beach, with everything you need for a relaxing time. The hosts, Levent and Burcin, are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much. Arif who does most of the cooking as well as all the other staff at the hotel are equally friendly and helpful. There is a huge breakfast each morning that keeps you going for most of the day. The lunch/evening menu is not huge but adequate and all the dishes we ate were superb. The hotel is located about 1 km from Cunda town which is a lively little place with plenty of restaurants & bars. There are also boat trips and a ferry boat to the larger town of Ayvalik on the mainland, a nice alternative to taxi. We spent 1 week at the Cundavilla Hotel and when we left we felt so sad saying goodbye to everyone, we had started to feel part of their ‘family’. I cannot recommend too highly, the best beach holiday ever….

Initially, I had only planned to spend 2 nights at this hotel but I enjoyed the stay so much that I ended up extending it ;) The location is simply perfect , right on the beach , offering magnificent view, soothing and relaxing setting. The staff are extremely friendly incredibly warm and attentive Burcin & Levent are always ready to listen and help , this family atmosphere really made me feel at home, the breakfast was delicious and fresh 🤌🏻 It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries ! Highly recommended and I will definitely be back , it’s my new happy place , see you soon !

Everything was perfect. The room was clean, surrounding was lovely full of flowers and local plants. The breakfast like this will cost you a lot in any other cafes/restaurants. There were 15 kinds of plates. Prices are mid range for lunch and dinner. They serve almost every kind of alcohol. The staff/owners were really lovely, friendly and polite. We were only expecting to have clean rooms and a close beach but we found much more here. The pool was clean, the sea is amazing. Parking is easy. 5-6 minutes by car, 15 mins on foot to the center. Everything they serve is really high quality. The music is lovely soft music. We do not like high volume turkish pop music. It was very surprising to find an atmosphere like this. There were cats and dogs (which we adored, they were so sweet and lovely). for those who might be scared, do not be scared :) they were really harmless and full of love.

Wifi was ok but could be improved.

A really nice and peaceful place, very cozy and relaxing. The rooms are clean and well furnished. It’s a hotel which is out of the crowded area so it’s perfect for a good sleep but still very close to the harbour and just a 15 minute walk away from all the restaurants and entertainments. We enjoyed great hours at the beach and when we got hungry we didn’t need to worry about it because the restaurant offered delicious meals so we had everything we needed at one place. Most of all we really liked the staff! They are kind and friendly and, oh, they have great taste for music!

Nothing but the music coming from the neighbouring hotel

We only thought to stay one night passing through the region, but loved the location, the staff, the food, and the area so much we extended our stay for the remainder of our time in Turkey! If you are considering visiting Ayvalik and/or Cunda Island, I highly recommend this local hotel villa and restaurant! Wonderful people! And there is access to a private beach and pool and is only a few minute walk to the south side of the island.

I liked location, breakfast and friendliness of staff very much. It was amazing to smell how the wind brought the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle flowers from the trees in the yard into the room. I have stayed in dozens of hotels in different countries to this day, and I have never seen such friendly and helpful staff anywhere. Special thanks to Arif bey and Levent bey.

I have absolutely loved this hotel. Accommodation was fabulous. 10 steps to the private beach. Levent is a great chef. The village center is 10 min by walk. The food during our stay was magnificent. Burchin who looked after us during our stay was on hand on what's app instantly for anything we needed and made lots of suggestions that made our stay. I will definitely be back with my friends.

The owners and all the workers were extremely nice to me. The facilities, room, beds, swimming pool, own beach... are great. It's a great place for chilling with couple, friends or family. I am sad I could just spend one night with them.

The only "bad" thing i could say, is that going to Cunda center is a 15 minute walk. But on the other hand you have your own private beach in the hotel so... for me it worth it.

From the moment we arrived (even though it was close to midnight), we were warmly welcomed by the owners, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Their attentiveness and genuine care for their guests truly set this hotel apart. The breakfast was a highlight. The owners clearly take pride in ensuring that their guests start the day on a high note.

Amazing hotel and staff. We had the best stay. Will be back! The hotel is really cute and clean. Perfect location on the beach with amazing views and loads of restaurants nearby. Nice and surprisingly quiet which we loved, as we were out partying but nice to come back and have sleep. Staff were excellent. Thank you!
