We were initially a bit hesitant about choosing this hotel, but the time we spent there completely dissolved any initial doubts we had. The team that greeted us consisted of people who were passionate about their work, always cheerful, and incredibly helpful. The elegance and comfort of our rooms were like an oasis of peace. Thanks to the meticulous and thoughtful cleaning each day, we felt right at home after a day of exploration. The view from the rooms was also a wonderful motivation to start the day. The restaurant section, on the other hand, was a feast for the senses. The variety and freshness of the breakfast and the unforgettable tastes left by the dinner dishes far exceeded our expectations. We particularly commend the meticulousness of the housekeeping team and the patient, solution-oriented approach of the reception staff to all our questions. In summary, our vacation at this hotel was much more wonderful than we had imagined. This is no longer just a hotel for us; it's our favorite getaway spot and our second home in Izmir. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the hotel staff for providing such a dreamlike accommodation experience!

Excellent hotel in terms of price / quality ratio with the most picturesque sea views out of the window We spent lovely 5 days/4 nights in Grand Ontur Hotel in the middle of June 2025. Location is outstanding as the peninsular is almost fully surrounded by the sea with Greek islands on the horizon. The weather can be tricky in June with frequent winds and high waves, so it is usually cooler than in Izmir and very nice for those who don't like too much heat. In June, before the high season, the hotel is a calm and pleasant place to stay. The main building is renovated and looks nice. Rooms are neat and clean. Standard room, where we stayed, has a huge balcony with the most picturesque sea view I have ever seen from a hotel. We also spent one night in a high class suite, which was more spacey to accommodate our family with 2 children. All other facilities (outdoor swimming pools with slope, children playground, beach area) are in good condition. The sea is clean and despite waves and invigorating water temperature about 21°С in June excellent to swim or dive. The Spa center looks a little bit old, but if you are lucky to have there massage treatment from Hasna, you'll don't pay attention to any imperfections of surrounding. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Guest relations team is there to help you with any issues within their competence (Aylin and Irmak know how to make you feel VIP guest). Children's animation team tried their best to keep the kids busy with sports and arts, even though some events were cancelled and replaced by movie nights due to low attendance (there were only few children in the hotel during our stay). We were happy not to be disturbed by loud disco music every night (some separate events / weddings were held at the beach restaurant in remote area). In general it is a superb destination for calm and relaxed vacation for families, incl. seniors, roma tic couples and those who don't seek endless entertainment.

SPA zone looks much more modern and nice in neighboring luxirious On'Live Hotel. Also there they serve lunches (for extra fee) unlike the Grand Ontur Hotel.

The beach is big enough. Due to several swimming-pools there was no crowding even in summer season. Music and disco at night gave it a party atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. The inside garden area was amazing. I didn't have time to try the spa and all the facilities.

The central Airconditioning in my room was almost only on fan mode. A lot of small things were missing in the room like water, cups, toothbrush and hand towel. There were all provided upon request. The open Buffet was only open for 2,5 hours. You need to wake up at 7-8:00 in the morning (not really what I want to do on vacation) to get breakfast or else its too crowded. The variety and quality of food were better at dinner. If the prices were more reasonable in the future I would come back.

Poor beach area. Poor lighting in toilets. Poor choice of fruit at breakfast. Not given the room we asked for. Noisy air conditioning. Pricing differentials through Booking.com.

We had a perfect romantic holiday with my girlfriend in this place. It's not overcrowded, quite cosy. The food is delicious. Our general impression is magnificent! The hotel is very convenient! The personnel is gentle and helpful, they speak English fairly well.

The only drawback that I can mention is the bathroom. The bath itself is not well built, when you take a shower, water pours all across the place.

The facilities of the hotel like swimming pools and hot thermal pool sauna and Turkish bath, the view, food (2 meals included in the stay breakfast and last lunch or call it dinner) were exceptional ...all staff were friendly and they tried to help as much as they can

Hotel was noisy rooms were not sound proof we were there in busy days ....the parking of car was crowded and not easy to park your car...hotel is a bit old

The room was large, the balcony was very big with great view. The hotel has nice facilities, the location is very good and the beach there is pretty. The personnel is very helpful as it is in most of the hotels in Turkey.

The food was below average. Both at the breakfast buffet and at the dinner buffet, the variety was rather small and the quality was not for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel was massive and the service was excellent. There is good access to the beach and the pools were great. Large grounds meant there were a heap of activities to do. The dinner and breakfast was spectacular - really good food and a huge selection.

The hotel seemed like it would have been great in the 80s. Lots of empty rooms and function rooms and areas. There was also not too much to do in the surrounding area. Probably great if you want to just chill by the pool.

Our room was cleaned every day without even asking. Friendly personnel. Meal options were not great but delicious. Would I stay at this hotel again, Yes, absolutely.

I didn’t like only two moments. First, a very deep side of the outdoor pool which is why it stayed empty and unused all the time, limiting a total capacity of the pool. Secondly, an entrance to the sea requires a special pair of shoes as it is not sandy and might hurt someone’s feet.

I like it so much and this is my fourth time in this property which is very nice view room and delicious food and very good service
