The Lamec Hotel is conveniently located near a highway, but experiences none of the highway noise one might expect. The reception desk is staffed with multi-lingual staff who are friendly and professional. The breakfast was simple, but provided enough variety and abundance for any type of visitor. The hotel was not fancy, nor did it bombard the guest with unnecessary frills. The Lamec was competitively priced.

There was a common area near the elevator on my floor. On two occasions, a tray of food was left on a tall table in this common area (presumably by a rude guest). I only mention this, because the tray remained there for more than six hours. The second plate, nearly ten hours. This made the difference between an 8 and 9 in my review. The two attendees in the breakfast/dining room spent the entire time I was there, staring at their phones. They spoke no common language, nor made any effort when I engaged them for breakfast related questions.

I especially enjoyed the breakfast, the food was good and the staff were keen to help and friendly, making a relaxed and positive atmosphere.

A small matter - the shaving mirror was too high for a person of average height to use The login process for the wifi was cumbersome, requiring re-login each day. This should be transparent to the user who has booked to stay several days.

Large room with minifridge boiler and free coffee/tea, small desk, double size bed, clean and nice bathroom. Hotel is located at a walking distance from Gebze downtown, from restaurants, banks and ATMs, mall and shops. Small convenient stores and basic food are just next door. Reception calls taxis that are available within few minutes.

Mattress is a bit hard. Breakfast is quite simple but enough to start the day.

Our stay was perfect! The room size, bed size, the smell in hotel, breakfast, restaurant, location - everything was spectacular! Thank you!

Just a loud singing in the early morning from the mosque was disturbing . The windows are not sound proof.

The breakfast was exelent! The location was not very good, but we have car and this solve the problem.

Absence of any alcohol is not good. In my opinion, at least beer and wine could be offered

Very friendly and open personel. I got very nice daily menu with sea bass. Very tasty.

I got room for smokers ( I should ask for change but I was too tired) but I did not get a beer in the restaurant :)

Very friendly staff, also speak english. Nice breakfast. price quality ratio very good,, cpmpared to ther hotels in turkey. roomservice possible, but thats also why its a 4 star hotel. In the restaurant had some fastfood friend chicken schnitzel, was good. few cars can also park onsite. Easy to reach from the main road.

nothing, well the location is not for holiday, its in middle of normal steet , nothing special, but i came also for business (gebze/dilovasi)

Breakfast starts late (8AM). No buffet breakfast, although the standard food served on a plate is rich.

Amazing stay! Everything was great, from the reception to the checkout. Amazing rooms - big, comfortable, well equipped. Electric kettle, tea, coffee, water bottles in the room. The shower is absolutely fantastic, I didn't want to get out. Super comfortable beds. Staff was very welcoming too and spoke several languages:)
