Asterina is a family run, small hotel in Turgutreis. The hotel itself is basic but incredibly charming. Our room was quite small, but the balcony was spacious and the A/C worked so well (and quietly) that I ended up requesting an additional blanket!. The bathroom was good (the shower a bit small) with deliciously hot water. The room and bathroom are really clean. There is a kettle in the room and tea and Nescafe, as well as two bottles of water are replenished every day. The breakfast is simple and delicious! It is exactly the same every day, always a boiled egg, two slices of cheese, a fresh tomato, cucumber slices, olives, honey, two jams and a (very) small cube of butter. There is also a full loaf of deliciously fresh bread. Turkish tea is readily available and there is Nescafe instant coffee and milk, plus choco pops and corn flakes for those who prefer cereal. The cheese borecki are a nice local addition to the breakfast. Where Asterina really stands out is in how nice everyone is here! Notably David who is the main person at reception, but also the family members who are in charge of breakfast, who are always friendly and willing to assist.

If there is a complaint about Asterina it would be the dismal WiFI. This was our little battle horse the five days we stayed here. David tried to help us out but hard as he might, we would not get any connectivity in our room. So, if you need internet for work or entertainment, better be prepared with unlimited data on your phone because you won’t find enough juice here.

The location was amazing, central and few metres to beach, shops, bars & cafe. Terrace views are gorgeous with sea view.

Nothing bad about the property but I regret not booking it for a longer stay.

Staff were absolutely brilliant. Very welcoming, speak good English. Apartments are very modern. The mattresses are medium to firm. They were really comfortable. Fridge, tea/coffee facilities in the room, which was great. Walkin shower, large bathroom. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was continental. There isn't a bar. But as you are right by the town there are plenty to choose from there. There is no swimming pool, but the apartments are situated across from the beach, where they have their own section with waiter service. Which was great. Sunbeds are so comfy and clean. We were very impressed and would definitely stay there again. Also, we would highly recommend these apartments.

The only downfall we had was nowhere to store our suitcases. The room we stayed in had a French balcony. Just enough room for 1 chair. Which was disappointing. If I had known that at the time of booking I would of paid any extra to have a proper balcony.

The location was perfect. Just two minutes walk to the beach where the hotel has its own sunbeds - no worries about getting your towel on early!! The breakfast was just a typical Turkish breakfast - eggs, cheese, olives, bread, jams. This was fine although we did sometimes give in and go for a full English. The staff were lovely and so helpful and we can't wait to go back.

Although the rooms have been refurbished, the shower in the bathroom is small, but we managed.

We had a lovely week at the Asterina, helpful happy staff really make the stay enjoyable. Everywhere is clean and modern, our room had a small balcony - big enough for two. Excellent shower and comfy big bed. Short walk to an excellent sandy beach with great sunloungers on the section managed by the Hotel, waiter servive too ! Easy walk into the sea - mostly sandy and gently sloping. Lots of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes within a 5 min walk.

The Breakfast is good but Boring ! The same everyday - just tea, no Coffee or Orange juice. The WiFi was average/slow. These two points did not spoil our excellent stay at the Asterina. Thank you to all the Staff.

It was one of the most restful and enjoyable sleeps I have ever experienced. The mattress was of exceptional quality, providing utmost comfort and support. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, contributing to a serene and hygienic environment. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service provided by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as pleasant as possible. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was cleaned daily, which is a rare but welcome touch. The presence of a small balcony allowed me to bask in the warmth of the morning sun, adding to the overall delightful experience. In conclusion, I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The rooms are modern built to a high quality, very clean. 24 hour reception service responds to every request. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the beach and the town, with lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. But what made the place extra special was specifically the hotel manager Cavit Bey - who did everything he could to please the customers and was available at the hotel reception or lobby nearly 20 hours a day !! Omer Bey from the reception was equally pleasant and helpful, also working round the clock.

There was also someone else who was always at the reception area, gentleman with a beard, whom we suspect is affiliated with the hotel, possibly in management or ownership. He never once looked up from his phone, never said good morning or good evening, never acknowledged any of the customers. Might as well sit inside in an office with that kind of attitude..

A Wonderful Stay with a Minor Setback I recently stayed at this hotel with my two daughters (19 years old and 6 months old) and overall had a fantastic experience. We were accommodated in a suite, which was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family. A travel cot was provided for our youngest, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist when needed. Although breakfast was included in our package, we unfortunately never managed to wake up early enough to enjoy it.

The only downside to our stay was the hotel's internet connectivity. The bandwidth was quite low, and I was only able to get a decent signal in the lobby or in front of the hotel while enjoying drinks. If internet speed is not a major concern for you, this might not be an issue. However, for me, it did affect my overall experience, which is why I’m rating the hotel a 9/10 instead of a perfect 10.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Bodrum! We originally booked a standard room, but to our surprise, the manager kindly offered us a suite at the same price. It was such a generous gesture and made our experience even more special. The suite was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Delightful boutique hotel. Feels like a family property because the staff are a super hospitable team. Nothing is too much trouble. Modern rooms with great balconies for relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sea. Thanks to Javid who kindly upgraded me to a gorgeous room, and for sorting out my transport. Turkish breakfasts were great too. The beach across the road was perfect, once the winter seaweed piles were cleaned up in preparation for summer, and the nearby cafe staff took orders for drinks. Perfect...

Occasionally the noise from the typical tourist hotel nearby was a bit much but clearly not the Asterina's responsibility.
