If you’re considering booking this hotel, do it. I only have positive things to say about my stay. As someone that has been traveling the world for the past two months and plans to keep going for another two, I know that Cappadocia will have a special place in my heart primarily because my experience and recommendations curated by Mak’s Cave Hotel. From the amazing freshly homemade breakfast every morning in the hotel’s top floor dining room, the stunning views of hot air balloons at sunrise from the hotel’s well decorated roof deck, the 5-star service helping coordinate reservations for excursions, restaurants and transportation make it beyond easy for me to highly recommend this hotel to friends, family and to anyone considering whether to stay here. I made friends here and got to know the owners and staff. I am giving two thumbs up!

The hotel is located on the uphill of Uchisar overlooking the castle in a quiet place with the magnificent scenery of Pigeon valley from its terrace. What an amazing hotel and its staff! The room was spotless, big with the seating area and fireplace, the bed comfortable - had a very good sleep.The breakfast was delicious served in the Turkish style and you can have it inside or on terrace. The girls on the reception are very kind and friendly. The host was fantastic! She has a great knowledge about the city and surrounding area and arrange the ballon ride for us. Strongly recommended! When I come back to Cappadocia, I’ll stay here for sure. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay at Maks Cave House in Cappadocia was amazing! The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable, blending an authentic cave experience with modern amenities. We went to celebrate our anniversary and birthday,the room was decorated for us and also complimentary upgrade was given to us. The location was peaceful yet close to attractions, offering stunning views. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional, making our trip unforgettable. The best part is breakfast time, they serve you individually and take care of you like you’re having breakfast in your own house. Highly recommend!

There’s nothing to dislike about the property.

From the impeccable service to the accommodation and stunning views, every aspect of our stay surpassed our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Mak's Cave House. The staff are some of the nicest I've ever encountered in my travels. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The Room was not only extremely special, but also spacious and very comfortable. The views from both the breakfast room and the terrace are espectacular and were a highlight of our stay. The homemade breakfast has an impressive variety and the highest quality.

This was one of the most thematic place I ever stayed in, as you are really accomodated within the cave. But a luxury one. There is winter terace, when you can enjoy morning breakfast with view of flying baloons. You can also reach the balcony at the top. View of the area us almost unbeatable. Maks cave is situated very well. I also had one of the best breakfasts of my life. Local jams and products. Tasty, and I am not even foodie. We also had a chance to meet up with place owner. She is lovely, bubbly and very proactive. Great talk with her. She was even able to book us baloon tours one day prior, so we had almost no worries regarding it. It was really pleasant stay, I was visiting with my friends. I can even imagine to take my future wife for honeymoon there. Se for yourself, you will not regret!

We had the pleasure of staying at several hotels during our stay in Turkiye and Mak's Cave House stood out as the best among them. The cave rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel also has a terrace with great views where you can enjoy a spectacular breakfast. It is also located within walking distance of the main plaza and Uchisar castle and makes for a great location from which to explore the region. All that being said, the hospitality of the staff is what makes Mak's Cave House stand out. They are always very friendly and attentive to your needs and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They even provided us with a free room upgrade for what could have otherwise been a minore inconvenience. Highly recommended!

Best hotel in Türkiye!! Please go here and experience the beauty of Cappadocia in an amazing place. It’s lovely furnitured, absolutely clean, super comfortable (beds, towels, amenities), the breakfast is just mind-blowing and amazing! Our favorite place was the roof terrace from which you can see the balloons rise in the morning and have a tea or coffee during the day. The team is just lovely, they’re super friendly and help you out with everything. They also organize transport to/from airport, balloon rides, horse rides, whatever you need. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

Mak's Cave provided an unparalleled experience in the heart of Cappadocia. Staying in a cave was incredible, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and comfort. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious options with stunning views. But what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality; the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for - the best hospitality I have experienced. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable stay.

-The owner Mak and her staff are polite, very friendly and accommodating. The boy who works at night doesn’t speak English, but he will try his best to help you. He offered us tea/ coffee while we were watching balloons on the roof top in the early morning. The two girls were very helpful and attentive during breakfast time. The owner Mak helped us arrange the balloon flight when there were no balloons available that day.(which I am very thankful for ) They offered me anything I needed without me even asking for it. - The breakfast is served after 7:30. It was an awesome spread of Turkish breakfast. -It was a very good experience staying in a cave hotel. The room was clean and stylish. They have a roof top with a view of the castle and the you can see the balloons taking off in the early morning. If you are lucky, you’ll see balloons flying over the hotel. -The hotel is not on the main road so it’s very quiet. There are friendly cats and dogs on the street welcoming me all the way back to the hotel. There are cafes , souvenir shops, travel agencies, restaurants and Uchisar castle around (5-10) minutes walk. I prefer this area over the hustling and bustling Goreme. -Lastly, they will give you a little surprise upon checkout. I will leave it here for you to find out !:)

Nothing really. -Since it’s a cave hotel, they don’t have a lift. I will not recommend you to bring a luggage that is as heavy as a rock. -Dogs and cats outside of the hotel don’t bite. Don’t worry.
