Yunak Evleri is in an excellent location right in the heart of Ürgüp. It’s not the easiest place to find at first — there’s a sign off the main road, but the cobbled street leading to the hotel looks almost too narrow for a car. Rest assured, it is accessible, and the hotel offers excellent valet service to assist with parking and retrieving your vehicle. Check-in was smooth, and we loved the traditional touch of the room keys — each with a weighty, logo-engraved keychain that added a sense of charm and quality. Our room was spacious and well-appointed: the bathroom was nearly as large as the main living area and included both a shower and a jacuzzi tub, plus a bench just outside for sitting in the sun. The bedroom itself was huge and featured a raised lounge area, perfect for children. The room felt very secure, and while there’s central heating for the colder months, fans are provided for the summer — helpful, as the rooms can get warm at night. The hotel has two swimming pools: a shaded cave-style pool that stays cooler, and a standard outdoor pool with 1.4m depth. There’s also a small children’s pool, and towels are provided free of charge. Communication was excellent throughout. Shortly after booking, the hotel contacted us via WhatsApp to check if we had any special requests and to offer discounts for local tours and hot air balloon rides. Although we had already booked our balloon trip via Viator, it was good to know that the balloon shuttle buses do collect guests from Ürgüp, even as early as 4:30am, at no extra cost. Despite these early starts, the hotel remains peaceful and serene — and the whole property is absolutely beautiful, especially at night when the stone buildings and surrounding area are lit up. We highly recommend dining at Logarto, just a 4-minute walk away. It offers excellent food and stunning views of the valley — a perfect way to end the day.

The hotel is impressive. It is build in the rocks, the view is impressive. Very unique architecture. But it is not unique for that region. The staff is helpful.

The hotel is too big. The rooms were not very new. There was a lot noise next to our bedroom which was located under the bar. But it was quiet during the night. There is no air-co in the rooms which makes it very hot in the night. There is no wifi connection in the rooms either. Breakfast is good enough. But for Turkish conditions, it is average.

This hotel is truly one of the best we have ever stayed at! The food, staff, and customer service were exceptional. Selim was especially very very helpful, and Yufuk was very prompt in assisting us. Our stay was amazing, and if we ever return to Cappadocia, we will definitely choose this hotel again. After seeing other hotels while traveling in a shuttle bus, I can confidently say this is the best hotel in Cappadocia!

The staff was very unhelpful at times. When we arrived, they refused to speak to us given that it wasn't check in time. Like light switch, they were all smiles and helpful at the stroke of check in time - very odd. The restaurant was also not at all welcoming - usually a madhouse with all the guests - and we couldn't even get a table for dinner as guests of the resort. the recommendation from the front desk on our second night sent us to a restaurant that was very expensive.

We spent three days in this striking hotel where every room is different, many built in caves, luxuriously decorated with local taste and all amenities. Great views, afternoon sun on the terrace. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff, efficient valet parking.

The restaurant is very good, with also Turkish specialities and local wines but the staff seem sometimes a bit lost and the service is not always up to standard. No internet in rooms but compensated with wi-fi in the the lobby, the reception and the restaurant.

The rooms inside the cave were fantastic. With -3 degrees outside, the rooms were warm and comfortable even without the heaters. The breakfast was good. The other meals were decent but we had better in restaurants outside. The setting of the hotel is lovely.

I did feel for the kind of property they peg themselves, the service and staff could be better. Just 2 bottles of 250 ml water per day is not enough and it took us multiple calls and self service to get our own water. Service was not with a smile and they dont go out of their way to help you with whats best to do around.

Our room was beautiful and spacious. We were a little worried on arrival that we may feel a bit claustrophobic in a cave! Maybe it would be small and have little light. However, we were pleasantly surprised how spacious the room was and we could open the windows for light and air. It's a magical place and we are glad we stayed there.

Our room was super, plenty of room, very comfortable and clean and a great view from a couple of deck chairs outside - perfect for viewing sunrises and sunsets. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the staff in the restaurant were always helpful. Wonderful to be able to sit outside with stunning views. The hamman treatment in the Spa was excellent.

The hotel’s website states it will arrange tours. I wanted to arrange a visit to The Whirling Dervishes but had to try more than once to get it arranged. On one occasion it was suggested that my tour operator could organise it - except my husband and I were independent travellers. With persistent, one member of staff arranged it for us, although incorrect information was given that the venue would accept credit/debit cards but in reality they only accepted cash. I think the hotel is more geared for groups.

Amazing hotel built into the caves and cliffs. Breakfast was huge with so much variety and staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable even the pull outs and room and bathroom were very spacious.

WiFi didn’t work very well in our room which was unfortunate due to the price you pay. But it did work on the balcony.

Everything was very beautiful. The breakfast was awesome. The cave room was wonderful. We also liked the hotel's cats. We made a special friends with one of them ❤️. The staff was always ready to help.

We wanted to experience the spa but the steam sauna was not in use. We used the other sauna but as we are from Finland it wasn't hot enough for us. There was no wi-fi hotspot in our room as was promised. The communication with the staff was sometimes difficult because they didn't know much english. Luckyli Google translate did the job.
