Solo 71-year-old traveler in Room 302. Most importantly, the staff & management. The staff is always inquiring if there is anything that they can assist with. The otel mgr. Mr. Harun is a wealth of local travel knowledge, & will assist you in all your local & continuing travel/transport needs. The shower pressure in my room was absolutely fantastic with hot water. An abundance of towels. If you want the linens changed, just ask; not automatic. The outdoor temp was mild, so no need for a/c; I just left my bedroom window open. Location great: smack right in the middle of the bazaar with everything you need just a stone’s throw away. Room has a mini-fridge: great for keeping fruits & bevs chilled. All this for a great price: as we say in America, “A great bang for your buck.” And the breakfast was adequate; a typical Turkish buffet, even tho I don’t eat a big breakfast. It worked for me. But you’re right near historical “Breakfast Street” if that’s your thing. And the elevator is a plus, even tho I walked down the stairs all the time.

No chair in the room if one wants to write on the table. And the room lighting was a bit dim in the evening; no issue during the day as great sunlight.

Location is good. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel is clean and warm. The hotel owner and staffs speak English. The hotel owner helped me with my preferred and private day trip. There is fluffy fat cute cat at the Reception 😺😻 but she is playing hard to get. She does not let me touch her or hold her.

WiFi could be better and faster for digital nomads. I could not work in my room because the connection was on and off the whole time. I had to come down to the lobby to work. However I got disconnected 3-4 times. It was impossible to open Power BI shared files and I couldn't finish my work

The hotel is on a side street, just far away enough from the main street that it isn't too noisy. We were there in winter, and I was thankful that the heating system was working very well. Breakfast was decent, and the staff worked hard to get the food out (many tourists from Iran the weekend we stayed). Harun, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly, he can arrange whatever tour you are looking for. There is a ton to see in the region by taking day trips. Free tea on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, easy to take public transport up different locations in town and to the bus station. Friendly manager; he can organize a trip in the area if there are more tourists around. I had a large room which was nice and comfy. A central street with many restaurants and cafes nearby.

The non-refundable policy for the hotel booking. I later had to cancel one night due to flight change and it was only partially possible; the hotel accepted but the booking was still never changed, so I had to pay the charges / taxes for the room.

the location is perfect. the rooms were clean and big. helpful staffs. the breakfast is good engouh.

no air conditioner! no heating or cooling system. (at least I didn't see anythig.) no parking nearby. (crowded and old part of city)

Good location, close to many restaurants and shops in a friendly neighborhood. The room and the bathroom were clean, the shower was hot. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Loved the big breakfast.

I understand that it's only hot in summer, but the room was very hot in the evening. I tried to sleep with the windows open, but there's too much noise in the evening. A fan might have been helpful. But maybe that's because I'm used to traveling in Asia where a fan is more or less the standard.

Staff was very helpful - speaks English as well as Persian/Farsi for the loads of Iranian visitors. Room had 3 beds so more than enough space. Bathroom very nice. Hotel breakfast was good but while in Van you also must visit "breakfast street" and lash out on the local specialty breakfasts at a "kahvalti salonu".

No option for any smaller rooms for 1 person at a reduced rate but I suppose that is not the dominant market in Van.

We had a good size room and it was very clean. The wifi worked very well and the beds were very comfortable. The manager, Haran, was very helpful with helping us organise a local tour. The other staff on reception were also very helpful. The breakfast was a basic Turkish breakfast of bread, olives, cheese, cucumbers, tomato's, boiled eggs, jams etc

The shower in the room was ok most of the time but sometimes the water wasn't very hot however it wasn't a big problem

Rooms are clean, cleaner than some others more expensive hotels. Good stuff. Breakfast is modest but very good quality. Location is also good, local food in 5 minutes, streets with shops and cafes in 10 minutes. Also you can find a bus stop in 10 minutes so it's easy to get anywhere in Van or close area not using a taxi.

No air conditioner. The rooms are a little bit tired.

Nice location, security was good. Staff always there. Good breakfast and free tea all day. Fridge in room. Nice area with local people

All the tour menu are in Iranian and non-English so makes it hard to book things, in the end I organised myself.
