I arrived later than the check-in time, about 1:30 am. The location is quite close to the city centre. I arrived with the Boda Boda (if you are in Uganda,, you pretty much know what this is ),, and the route was safe, the boda guy stayed to make sure that I was attended to and the security guard was instant and very helpful. The staff and team on the group were very helpful and oh My the breakfast compared to the cost is really a great treat. I am vegan and had great options.

The water heater switch is outside the room. A fact I didn't know was possible. Perhaps for the next guest, let them know especially since i needed a shower after midnight check in :)

1. Location. Very serene and quiet. It is a very good place to rest after a hectic day. 2. Staff - very friendly, helpful, and hospitable. I checked in past 11PM and missed dinner, but the lady at the reception was kind enough to guide me where I got food that late. 3. Rooms - Although I booked a double room, I got a single instead, but nonetheless, it was spacious and very clean.

1. Breakfast - it didn't live to the bill of "Full Breakfast".

The place is a very safe location from town. It is very homely, serene and peaceful. The kind one needs to rest fully after a long day on the road or at work. The room I was given though not on the main complex was very tidy. I would have much loved to stay at the main complex. Hopefully, the next time I stay at the Palace, I will make my reservation early enough. The staff I interacted with were all helpful and receptive. I had my supper freshly prepared and served steaming hot. In summary, the experience is value for money. I would go there over and over again, I would recommend it without any reservations, I hope they keep it up.

The room I was given which is not on the main complex had no window. I will try to understand this because it looked like the room was remodeled from what was meant for something else.

The staff are all very kind. When we checked in at midnight and needed food when most restaurants were closed they drove us to a restaurant nearby and made sure we were safe. They helped us with translating when we needed and were really helpful. The rooms are very spacey, clean and comfortable.

1. Double bed for 2 people is too too small. I dont recommend 2 people to stay in double bed room Twin bed room will be OK, But it was not available when we stayed. 2, Dinner took 1,5 hour after order

Laundry is 10k. Water is really hot enough in the showers, there is soap and toilet paper provided. Staff is friendly.

There was a mosquito net but at night I woke up cuz of multiple bites, either mosquitoa were under net or its not that tight on the bed. Earlier than 8am there was very loud noise from cutting grass, no chance you can continue sleep with that noize. Breakfast table almost finished at 9:45, I tool the last portion of everything. To pay with card is challenging, they say usually it works, but not today unfortunately. So I had to go to the town to atm.

Breakfast was not muzungu friendly but ok. Location close to city centre and convenient.

Google Maps did not show the right location. The hot water when put on was a small tank lasting 1.5 showers.

The location of the hotel is wonderful,very cool n private place with peaceful environment,also wonderful staffs like Melania and prosper for in room dining and housekeeping team.

The soap in the bathroom is too small,and also some taps in bathroom needs fixing.

Great value for money. Spacious room. Working facilities. Nice garden.

Night receptionist was not warm or friendly when questions were asked. For goodness sake it was my first night in Mbarara! More lights needed at the road leading to the hotel at night.otherwise it was top notch.
