We liked the proximity to Orly. We took an Uber to a nearby mall to pass some time and had many food options. We would've used the pool except that it rained the one day we were there.

Poor wifi in the rooms. We didn't rely on the shuttle back to the airport because it didn't seem to keep to the exact schedule on the timetable given to us (saw it arrive early at one point and did not wait until the posted time). We decided to take an Uber to the airport and were glad we did because a lot of people were waiting for the shuttle in the morning and it looked like it would be full.

I use Novotel Rungis every time I fly from Orly airport. It is a clean, friendly hotel with a free navette service to & from the airport. You can arrange to leave your car there (at an extra cost). Make sure you do this at the time of booking.

There is a nicely appointed restaurant at the hotel, but this time I found the choices on the menu were too "exotic" for my taste so I ended up going to the local MaccyD! Also, the bar area could be more comfortable. Only one small sofa & the rest of the seating consists of hard chairs.

The hotel is a little dated but it was exceptional because the same traditional hotel standards of courtesy and service maintained. 2 stand outs : 1. The staff, especially the reception in evening, Cristian, who was so kind and gave a souvenir Novotel bear at checkin. Also, Anna at breakfast; housekeeping; day manager(gentleman in white button down); night manager (Mademoiselle with dark hair with black and white outfit in evening) - were so understanding and brought back a humanised compassion that exists rarely nowadays, and is mandatory when you are in your transitional home- thank you for making me feel like a person and not like a number or irrelevant account whilst Novotel was my temporary home. 2. Breakfast was amazing- pretty sure I gained back all the weight I lost running around Paris.

Ability to make the television English? Just for the comfort/familiarity.

All the man work in the reception is very kind but only the girl is not friendly. She didn’t give enough information and not kindly. Should quit this job asap if the hotel doesn’t want to miss customers. Breakfast is simple and the same food everyday.

Staff were very helpful, kind and accommodating. Room spqtuois, clean and had everything we needed. Restaurant and bar great staff too. Reception staff helped me out with admin, very swift and efficient. Excellent, thank you!

Location is tricky, as you either need a taxi (not too expensive though) or the hotel shuttle that does not always follow time table. Basically you are dependant on transportation, you can't walk. Again, the taxi ride is just less than.25min away, and Uber is normally around! That's the only.thing I could think of that is not excellent, but definitely manageable

The family room was spacious with 5 beds and clean. Staff members were very helpful and polite. Good amenities, including swimming pool. Good breakfast and dinner. Overall, my family loves the hotel and the amenities.

Everything was good except it is slightly expensive to go to Paris by taxi from the venue. However, there is a free shuttle to the airport.

Nice helpful staff and very clean and pleasant hotel. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong and foosball table with kids. It was quiet in the room despite being next to the busy motorway which is an advantage for access. Breakfast was simple and delicious every day. Driving to Paris city centre was good and took only about 20 minutes.

Car parking is €10 a day which is a discounted rate for residents but it still mounts up the costs after a few days.

The hotel is a solid option for staying near the Orly airport. There is nothing exceptional about it but it is perfect for an overnight stay. The family room was big enough, the beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast was ok. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. There are no extra facilities except for the gym. There is a free bus transfer from the hotel to the airport.

Nothing really, but then there is also nothing extraordinary, so a rating of 8/10 seems very fair. The hotel is next to the highway, so forget about opening windows during Summer (too noisy). Ah, the transfer bus left 5 minutes before schedule, so be careful (obviously not the hotel's fault).

The room was super spacious and really clean, Everything a family would need and nice and quiet.the breakfast was brilliant considering we have very fussy kids ,pancakes were freshly made to order,loads of fruit and pastries and a nice selection of hot food,really good coffee and a great selection of juice and cereal

If I had to pick something just because I was asked,there was about 25 leaves on the pool area, nothing serious

The room was perfectly adequate for what i needed which was to sleep 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 10).Two separate sofa beds for the children which is a bonus and saves them arguing about space. The breakfast was again brilliant , pastries ,fruits , sausage bacon eggs potatoes and a selection of fresh breads . A selection of juices and coffee were on offer also . The only criticism was the breakfast times change at the weekend and during the week which resulted in us missing breakfast on Monday morning when it reverted back to 09.30 finish, weekends are 12.00. We used this hotel for a sightseeing weekend in Paris and the tram journey and underground took roughly 35 minutes each day to reach the center. We took the T7 tram and got on at (porte de rungis) and then connected at the end of the line to Villejuif Louis Aragon which was no problem at all. The hotel pool was great and was open till 9pm at night so the kids enjoyed cooling off after a long day. The free transfer bus back to Orly airport stops right outside the hotel and the reception staff gave us a timetable of the schedule. Overall we would defiantly stay again and many thanks to the staff at Novotel .

location wise it was a bit of a walk ( about a mile) to the closest tram stop ( porte de rungis) and required going over a bridge which connects the road of the hotel to the other side closest to the trading estate but that would be my only minor gripe.
