Great location

The fridge was full of beverages that they were trying to sell. I had the lm removed so that I could put my own things in the fridge. The only water on-site was for sale. They had no fountains and despite having a full restaurant and bar, when I asked the front desk where I could refill my water bottle she said there was water in the room. Yeah, fancy stuff that cost a lot. She told me I could go down to Trader Joe’s to buy cheaper water. But all I wanted to do was refill my bottle. I didn’t want to buy something with plastic. When I asked about the restaurant giving me water she refused. I walked around the neighborhood and eventually found a restaurant that was super friendly and said I could use their water machine.

I really enjoyed my stay at Palihotel Culver City! The hotel was comfortable and well-appointed, with a decent bathroom, excellent shower, and quality amenities. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a convenient table and strong Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to get some work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and services within walking distance in a safe and vibrant neighborhood. Plus, the hotel's cute and edgy decor gave it a unique charm that made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

While my stay at Palihotel Culver City was overall enjoyable, I did feel that the cleanliness could be improved. The air conditioning/heating system seemed like it needed better maintenance, as the air ventilation didn’t feel as fresh as it should. Additionally, the carpet/rug in the room and hallway looked quite old and dusty, which took away from the otherwise stylish and comfortable atmosphere. With a bit more attention to deep cleaning and upkeep, the experience would be even better!

Cute aesthetic and clean hotel. The room overlooked the bottom garden area where you can see the bar/restaurant on the bottom. Even if it's a bit noisy on the bottom, shutting the window keeps the noise out pretty well. The bed was comfortable and storage was adequate.

Discovered that parking was not onsite, and that parking is valet only. Typically this isn't an issue because this is LA, but they charge $50 for overnight parking and $17/hr for the first several hours. Most of the area around it is not street parking and the closest free street parking would be about a 5-10min walk from the hotel itself. You should be able to drop your luggage off and search for somewhere to park though

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone staying in LA, especially first timers. Sure, it's an Uber ride to most places but that's LA. The hotel itself is really nice, the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There's a tonne of places to eat and drink around the hotel too. Great stay for if you want to be close enough to the beach, but in a quieter area.

We didn't get our room cleaned at any point during our stay, and the bathroom was a tad odd with there being a window from the bedroom to the toilet but small complaints.

The staff, especially Maria were wonderful. We had been impacted by the global outage at the airlines and on top of that had a medical emergency. Maria was incredibly helpful . Also the location was perfect as we didn’t have a car and there were so many restaurants, pharmacy and close to medical help.

It would have been a lot better to have two beds. Instead we had an inflatable mattress that had a cord we had to step over in the middle of the night. Also there was barely any room to get around it. A roll out cot would have been better although the mattress was confortable, I was unable to sit up to read as the extension cord meant it was in the middle of the room. This was the only downside. Staff were all just so helpful I still would return .

Great location. Nice restaurant as lobby. Enjoyed use of the free bikes. Outside courtyard was nice. Beds and bedding comfy.

Rooms were too small for the price. Needs soundproofing, you can literally hear other room phones and movements. Too much precious space taken by expensive treat options. No milk for tea/coffee in room. No black tea for most of the stay. A/C thermostat malfunctioned a few times while we were there. Parking on site was outrageously expensive.

Excellent location in Culver City. Fun funky vibe. Superb people at check-in. Nice to get the coupon for a free drink. We did enjoy the restaurant.

Room 214 has a bad problem with humidity. Sheets and furnishings feel damp. Towels do not dry during the day or overnight. My husband said it felt like a room that had recently been flooded with all those residual moisture. Staff did help on our final day there by installing a dehumidifier as we had requested bringing humidity down from 85% to 58% Upgraded garden view room 108 can be loud since it adjoins the restaurant and nightlife space. Little storage for non-hanging clothing.

Loved the attention from the staff and the wonderful servers and staff at the Simonette. The food is AMAZING and the Nespresso coffee machine in the room was great! The rainshower showerhead was AMAZING! LOVED that I could open the window and let the fresh air into the room! Room freshened up each day which made me feel so special. Loved having the Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel in the shower as well as having a special face washcloth

- No creamer in the room for coffee (not a huge deal) - No fitness center onsite or info about fitness center options - The rooms are a tad small and I kept stubbing my toes on the bedframe legs

Pros: EXCELLENT LOCATION! Walking distance to Kirk Douglas Theater, Starbucks, Great Restaurants. Hotel has an AMAZING Restaurant & bar with a very nice vibe. Staff were friendly & helpful. Old building with lots of charm. Cons: Bed a bit soft. Room 312 is near the Elevator Room and it can be loud. Walls pretty thin so you can hear next room’s tv.

The Pali hotel was perfect. Tucked away from the busy main streets yet only a few steps away from amazing restaurants, shops and theater. The Pali Hotel restaurant was incredible. Elegant but casual with an open courtyard decorated to perfection. Awesome food served late with a drink menu to make anyone happy. The Pali Hotel is also pet friendly with a skilled valet staff. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
