A return visit after a few years and found it to be just as good as we first remembered. Great location, lovely to have the use of the log burner in the apartment. Quiet spot yet right in the heart of the area and plentiful parking at the car park a 2 minute walk away. It feels like a home away from home and we will be back. Excellent communication before and during our stay from John, and lovely extras left for us- milk was so handy for a cuppa after a long journey.

Not a dislike- would be handy to have a pint glass in the cupboard. Slightly less keen on the cat trying to enter, but cant be helped!

We liked the cosy room and the location. We had all the amenities and we were bang in the middle of Settle and close to the Three Yorkshire peaks. Nice place for a couple to chill and relax. Loved the tabby cat that visited us such a little character. We will definitely come back....

After a long day in the hills climbing/hiking we would have liked to chill on the sofa for longer. It was a bit uncomfortable and it would be nice to be able to just put your feet up (footstool) and have a table near to put your snacks & drinks onto while you watch TV but that's just us. 9/10. 10 stars for everything else ***** ***** Clean, Fresh beautiful place 🤍

Hayloft 1 (upstairs) Superb location in the heart of Settle with shops & pubs nearby yet not noisy. Great walks in the area. Parking nearby with ample spaces and clear instructions from the owners about getting to the property from the car park and accessing the property (2 days before). Welcome pack of milk, wine + cookies a lovely touch. Comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Leaflets for days out available.

Hayloft 1 (upstairs). No instructions for cooker, fire, televisions. No frying pan. Shower screen was dirty on the inside (gave it a wipe but needs a scourer) also the lower hinges/rollers on it are broken due to limescale build up so needs replacing.

The location was great, right in the centre of the beautiful town of Settle. We were a 20 min drive from Malham Cove and 20 mins from Ingleton Waterfalls, both fantastic destinations for hiking. The Settle Carlisle railway journey is very scenic, even on an overcast day. There is a a great wholefood shop attached to the property which was handy to stock our kitchen, and there was a local Co-op nearby and a Booths a little further. Our hosts were very friendly, leaving welcome goodies for our arrival, and everything ran smoothly. We had everything we needed to self cater in the apartment and the lounge and bedroom were really comfortable and cosy. There was outdoor space to sit in the sunshine beside the property but plenty of parks and green spaces nearby to sit in comfort too.

This was a lovely apartment set in a great location. All the facilities were very good. The kitchen had everything you needed. The kitchen/diner lounge worked very well and made for comfortable living quarters. The bedroom was really spacious with lots of storage space, the bed was really firm but very comfortable the fairy lights around the dressing table mirror made it very special. The hosts were very attentive and made sure everything was ok. All in all this is a great place to stay.

The location is perfect and John, the host very helpful. The accommodation was excellent value, well appointed and has character. There are lots of pubs and eating places nearby and the railway station with scenic routes is easy walking distance. Settle is a wonderful base for exploring the area and for walks. Although the property is right in the heart of Settle it was quiet and peaceful.

The bed was a bit too firm for me. A mattress topper would be good. Otherwise it was great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is fabulous. It is very close to the centre of Settle, but also in a quiet location. John is a very good host. He responded very quickly to any messages we sent to him. The welcome bottle of wine upon our arrival was a nice touch and much appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to return here.

There is nothing to dislike

Just returned from a three night NY trip! We absolutely loved it.. the apartment, Hayloft 1 is so romantic and beautifully presented throughout. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. Really warm and cosy with plenty of radiators.. Across the road from a gorgeous pub with the friendliest staff and great food. The village itself is full of quirky streets, lovely shops and plenty of places to eat and drink (if you like Indian food don't miss going to Ruchee as we couldn't recommend it enough) Super host who promptly got back to us when we msg a question and was also kind enough to leave us cookies, milk and wine! What a nice touch! All in all we couldn't fault a thing, gorgeous from beginning to end...

Great location, easy access to a local car park (£15 for a week), lots of lovely pubs and restaurants on the literal doorstep and a great centre point for exploring the dales ! The apartment itself is very nice, very warm, kitchen has everything you'd need and it was quiet and clean. John is very helpful and was easy to find with directions and photos to help from him! Check in was seemless as was checkout. A great place to stay!!

Could have done with a 2nd roll of loo roll, or a box of tissues. Was a bit annoying having to go buy some during the stay. Though there is a Co-Op a minutes walk from the apartment. Very minor negative, as overall its a very beautiful place to stay! Would recommend!

Keys easy to find, communication with owner was excellent via a text on the day. Property bang in the centre of Settle, superb for all the towns facilities. Town car park 2 mins walk, good value and free overnight between 6pm-9am. The all in one apartment with kitchen, living room and bedroom all in one room and the very decent bathroom. Quiet, no noise from outside and walking distance to the railway station.

Just a little dark in the evenings walking up the path to all of the properties from the mainroad. Otherwise a perfect stay.
