The overall aesthetic and design is exceptional. The rooms were flooded with natural light and great cross ventilation, and room-darkening shades protect the late sleepers. The location is very convenient with a bakery and small grocers around the corner. Some of the best of José Ignacio's fabled restaurants are a short walk away. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, including at the restaurant. The pool was lovely and the smaller heated pool was especially appreciated. The rooftop terrace offered a perfect spot for viewing sunsets. Free covered parking was a nice feature.

Very minor detail but a few more basic supplies in the kitchen (e.g., paper towels, salt/pepper, etc) would seem like a nice courtesy especially to make it much more usable for shorter stays.

Spacious, well organized, very clean with fantastic staff.

The only thing we didn’t like was the bedroom window facing the inner courtyard near the air conditioning units. We had hoped to sleep with the window open since it was quite warm at night, but unfortunately, the noise from people walking by made that impossible. I suppose there’s nothing to be done about it, as it’s just the hotel’s layout.

Casagrande really has everything you might need on your stay (bbq, beach umbrellas and seats, yoga mats, etc.) at the customer's disposal. They will also give great recommendations for activities nearby the hotel. We went kitesurfing with Kitesurf Uruguay, went to laguna Garzón and José Ignacio, to the small town nearby, etc. The overall experience was amazing. Casagrande is a place that really thinks about their guests. They also offer additional services (restaurant and laundromat inside the hotel, bikes for rent, supermarket 1 min walk).

The 1 min walk supermarket is quite convenient (variety of products and good quality, pizzeria inside), but it is rather expensive.

This place is terrific. It is a lovely modern building, with rooms exactly as pictured. Everything is new and well maintained The English speaking staff were very helpful, kind and attentive. We enjoyed the cafes and shops adjacent to the complex and did some cooking in our suite. This lovely stay could not.have been better. I highly recommend it.

Loved Casagrande for a week-long stay. Having a kitchen was a big plus in combination with nearby markets. High quality windows made for a quiet stay despite construction in the neighborhood. Well designed and well run. Loved it!

The windows/sliding doors didn’t have screens which allowed bugs to crawl/fly in. Small downside in the big picture.

Fantastic value! I'm traveling all over the country staying in at least 10 different places and Casagrande is probably going to end up being number one, amazing value for the price. Gimena at the front desk is a real gem; helpful, patient, knowledgeable, she tailored her advice to my unique situation (and she's also just a really great person). I can't say enough about her, thank you so much Gimena! The staff at breakfast were so nice even though I waltzed in at closing begging for coffee. BEST shower I've had on my trip. Fab kitchenette with incredibly helpful sprayer faucet. I could hear chairs scraping above but people seemed pretty chill so it was never an issue, I got to sleep fine. A little difficult to heat the living area despite the excellent a/c and heating unit but blackout curtains or shades behind the sheers would make a huge difference and save them $$$ on energy costs. Great parking area with elevator, they have bikes and a little laundry area where the machine dispenses detergent so you don't have to go buy any (pricey but super handy when you need to wash halfway through a longer trip). Loved the location and the bakery around the corner is truly world-class.

The architecture was beautiful, pool great, and was close to everything. The apartment room we got was great for me and my sisters.

Ordering food/drinks at the pool could have been much better. Was hard to find staff and the pool bar was closed- maybe because of low season? Feel like they could be making more profit adjusting this.

Absolutely everything. The location, the room, the facilities, the restaurant, the pool, everything was great. I loved the touches like the provision of beach towels, chairs and umbrella. If we’d stayed longer the kitchen was well equipped and we could have catered for ourselves. José Ignacio is magnificent, even in off-season when there’s very little open.

Lovely ApartHotel with really nice large, light rooms. Breakfast excellent (best we had in our 3mth trip) and staff really helpful. Really great to have car park underneath and ideally located to wander around to nearby bistros and cafes and cross road to the beach.

This is just before the turn to Jose Ignacio village itself so you’d most likely drive & park to visit central areas. I’d still choose to stay here though, it’s a great value option.

Our room goes to main road (buses and moto sounds) and construction sites nearby (noises). There is no any bath amenities except shampoo / bath gel / hair conditioner. As the property is a brand new, be ready for cement smell in the rooms.
