So much to love here! The location was perfect! It was right on the boardwalk and the view could not have been better. Sandi the manager was EXCEPTIONAL! She was always willing to help in anyway she could. Also Hillarene clearly takes great pride in the property. Geranimo was kind and knowledgeable. The rooms themselves look in real life exactly as they look online. The bathroom was clean and looked renovated. AC was cold. Water was hot! And the pillows! OMG the pillows were heavenly. Loved the comfy chairs in the rooms and common areas and the renovated pool was fantastic. There was so much that was perfect!

We really had to work to get our room cleaned regularly. When it was cleaned they did a good job but they basically only cleaned when we requested it, which was disappointing. The AC leaked a bit but that was no biggie. Heard some people talk about the roosters. They were not a problem. They added to the ambience.

The location was perfect with a great view of the harbor & boardwalk. It was surprisingly quiet for the location. We were able to purchase a parking permit for our 3 day stay which was well worth it. The staff was very pleasant & helpful. Food, excursions & shopping all just steps away.

The elevator was broken so running up & down 3 flights of stairs did get old. Out overhead fan didn't work, but they were more than happy to move us to another room.

Customer Service was par excellence - Ms. Hillarine is a jewel, Lynelle is a foodie information fountain, Zenira is potential bursting at the seams, Dizhane is service with a smile, Sandy is helpful above and beyond, and Louis is a walking St Croix info center. The experience of meeting and interacting with each of them, individually and collectively, was a trip highlight.

We were told the pool would be open upon arrival, but it was still under construction. 3rd floor ice machine was broken. There was a drawer in the main chest that wouldn't remain closed.

The location was great…easy to walk the boardwalk to restaurants shops and mini mart and attractions. Pool was very clean loved having Rum Runners right there at hotel

No parking for the guests. Having to walk 2 blocks to park car. Pool not being accessible with handrail cuz I have vertigo and unsteady on feet. The no smoking was not an issue for myself but my friend said she wished there was a designated area for her to smoke

I liked the property. It was quiet when we were there. We like that. I liked the staff, especially Miss. Hillary on Reception. She is a sweetheart, so kind and welcoming. I liked the location and the adjacent boardwalk.

(1) due to the climate, they need to install dehumidifiers in every room and ensure they are emptied for the arrival of each guest (2) invest in room air fresheners, as the air upon opening the door can smell a little stale (depending on which room you have) (3) Our room needed a desk and chair for laptops. a Must for business people working while on vacation (4) Room telephone lines should be checked for dial tone before each guest arrives (5) the connected bar ( I don't think it is part of the hotel) is a bit dated and somewhat grubby (6) Review of building security should be conducted often. But generally felt safe

There's no breakfast at the hotel no lunch no dinner..at rumrunners they served lunch...that was excellent

The hotel should give something either breakfast or shuttle....I had to walk along the board walk to get breakfast because it's one of the only ones with breakfast on Tuesday had to wait 50 munites before being served

The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the boardwalk in Christianstead. The staff was great and we were able to get a spot in the small on-site guest parking lot for a small nightly fee.

The pool was closed and I do not recall being advised of this before booking or at check-in. Not a huge deal to us personally as the weather was rainy but it would have been nice to know before we booked.

the location was great, in the heart of Christiansted/Boardwalk. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly, check-in was such ease. Liked the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The room is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig, a huge plus. The room was very relaxed and comfy. I would highly recommend it. This is the only hotel I stay in whenever I visit St. Croix.

Parking is very limited, and the nightly fee to park on the property is a little high. The hotel is a bit on the pricey side, I guess because of the location. The hotel should offer some type of discount from time to time.

It was in a nice area. Alot of history around.

A.C. kept cutting off for a min back on for 2 and back off, so it's hard to sleep with it going back and forth thought it would be a little bigger but it was good I would stay again but you really need to have a car.

The night staff was very open to my concerns about my room when I arrived late at night and the young woman was very accommodating. My room was changed and I couldn't be happier with my new room. The experience I had at Caravelle was absolutely the best!! All staff members are friendly, welcoming, and approachable. I plan to return, and I can't wait!
