Breakfast was pretty good. Big and broad selection of cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee including decaf, tea, and some other things. It's easy to find the room just off the lobby and there's plenty of seating. Beds are comfy and the place is quiet, out of the way, and still convenient to Tuscaloosa and the Interstate. Staff are very nice. The owners provide free water and snacks in the room and drinks in a fridge by the desk, which is appreciated because a lot of hotels try and nickel and dime for everything nowadays.

Room was pretty clean, but they missed water bottle caps and hair ties under the bed sides, which I discovered when I dropped my keys and had to look for them. So they could do a bit more attention to detail when turning over rooms. Need more protein options on the breakfast because it's mostly carbs.

I love the staff here. Awesome customer service. Always so friendly and looking out for me traveling as a single woman. Assigns room based on occupancy with my safety in mind. Breakfast was great for me. This is an older building/property but kept clean and well maintained. Half way point to stay as a snowbird. This is my 3rd stay and I will continued to book rooms here for years to come as long as it's as clean and welcoming as it has been all of my stays.

I loved the Alabama theme throughout the hotel. We were there for the Iron Bowl. It was a convenient location and very affordable. The staff was awesome -everybody with smiles on their faces. The breakfast was great. Snacks when we checked in. But most of all- I LOVED THE SHOWER!!! Most awesome shower I have ever had. Felt like a massage. We will definitely stay again if we are up that way and recommend to others.

We liked the location and it's quiet. We have stayed here many times and always had a good experience after a long drive in.

A.C. filter was filthy & I had to wash it. Our bed was supposed to be a King and it was a queen and rather worn. Also the headboard was filthy with other guests head oil - yuck. Breakfast was lacking as well - as compared to pre- Covid stays.

Quiet out-of-the-way location, not too far from Tuscaloosa.

Carpet looked like it had been wet. Water stains on the ceiling, and poor repairs of water damage that appeared to have been caused by condensation leaking from the AC in the room above. Bathroom had some mildew. I coughed for 30 minutes when I woke up and was getting ready to check out… I suspect mold in the ceiling and possibly in the carpet.

The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious! It had a microwave and kitchen sink which I was not expecting. Felt like a safe place to stay with our kitties. Looks like they are doing some renovating as well.

The bed was a little outdated/worn and the room needed a little dusting. But our booking was last minute.

I usually do not do reviews but I had to on this one. The room was super clean. Staff was very professional and friendly. The lady that checked me in was SUPER nice and helpful. Definitely a 5 star place at a very reasonable rate. I would even bring my wife to this place just for a weekend visit just to stay again.

Very nice, spacious room with a well defined area for refrigerator, microwave, and dining. The king sized bed was quite comfortable and covered with a duvet.

Though it wasn’t a problem for me, the hotel seems to be in its location primarily for business travelers to the nearby automobile plant. There are no nearby restaurants or stores.

Free bottles of water, soda, happy hour, and mimosas and Bloody Marys for breakfast. And the staff were super nice and accommodating.

Very, very dated. Rooms had lots of scuffs, a busted outlet and the shower wasn't great.

The staff at this Hotel were so very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were clean and acceptable. The breakfast was ok with enough variety to get us going on our way. The area was peaceful and quiet with a diner located a few miles down the road. Would definitely stay here again.
