There is really not a breakfast. They offer coffee and tea all day and you can buy other things from them. They have a limited supply. We brought our own food for breakfast and could use their equipment. It is close to town, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly.

Just very surprised at how small the room was and that there was no microwave even though it shows one in the pictures. There was a hot pot which was great. It is an older facility they have updated.

The location ws excellent for me - close to the Main Street but in rural setting and one could simply sit on one of the benches / garden furniture surrounded by trees and seeing glimpses of the river through them. My room was basic but very clean and was fine for my 2 nights stay. Travelling alone and having a reliable shuttle to and from the train is a real help. All the staff from the booking to the end of my stay including the shuttle driver were excellent and one could purchase items for breakfast- coffee free.

It was very hot weather and there was no AC - but that was reflected in the price.

We hope to stay here again if we come back to Talkeetna. Besides an incredible setting right by the river, fun lawn games, chairs scattered across the property for sitting and enjoying — the office staff were incredible, the room was spacious with plenty of beds for all, and the proximity to town can’t be beat! We had some rough stays prior to arriving here, and it felt like arriving ‘home’ for a few days when we checked in and found this quaint, clean, spacious lodging to enjoy for a few days. Are the rooms updated and top of the line? No, but they are completely comfortable and welcoming. This was by far our favorite three days of the trip. Thank you, Talkeetna Inn!

There is nothing I would change about the Inn. It’s perfect just the way it is!

Location is the best in town, right on the river. On the river trail you can see Denali on a clear day. Walking distance to the whole town, for dining, shops, seeing historical buildings and museum. Staff was nice and helpful. Room came with earplugs and a big zapper tennis racquet. Nice touch since we go to bed early - though it was fun to hear people playing yard games on the expansive lawn late at night. A joyful atmosphere with firepit, porch swings, lawn chairs.

The room had a very slight mildew smell - perhaps the bathroom. But it’s an old place, so that’s to be expected. It was a very small plain room, but a beautiful setting. We spent our time out and about the town and yard anyway.

Located in the down town of Talkeetina, so in this little town/village everything is within walking distance. Amenities are very basic and include refrigerator, coffee machine and free wifi. Staff was friendly. The attached bar had a pool table and other games for free play,

Rooms are are a little dated, and can use some TLC. The room had a heater, but finding out how to turn it on was something that could have been better explained/marked.

friendly staff who upgraded our room because we were there for a few days. Picked us up and dropped us off from train station. Great location by the river and easy short walk to main street.

It is a budget style accommodation, so nothing fancy but that is what we were after.

It was basic for what we wanted but it was comfortable but the rooms were quite small. The thing we liked about it was the fact that it was close to everything and the staff were brilliant.

It was quite small but we wanted our own bathroom so under those situations it was great.

The grounds were so beautiful and the Inn was right on the Susitna River. We loved the fact that we could walk to everything in town. We walked to Conscious Coffee for breakfast and then to the Roadhouse bakery for a world class cinnamon bun.

I would have liked some heavier bath towels, but wouldn’t let that deter me from visiting Talkeetna Inn. We really enjoyed our stay!!

The staff was great at reception. The room was a small one (as expected) but with the things we need (fridge for the summer hot days that was the case), nets on the windows to keep the mosquitos out and to keep the room cool for the night (did i told you that was very hot on that day?). Great location, very near the river bank and town center. Good wifi.

I loved that our room looked out on the river. We were also able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The rooms are on the older side but clean. We were just staying the night and the accommodations were perfect for us. Very close walk down the road into Talkeetna.

That it did not offer any type of breakfast. We knew that there was no continental breakfast but it would have been nice if the bar had been opened to serve breakfast. Talkeetna does not offer a lot in the line of breakfast so make sure you plan on that.
