Welcoming staff on property. Felt clean, which is our main interest. We check for bed bugs in every hotel or AirBbB - certainly none here, and I was glad to see mattress covers. Breakfast was minimal, but had several packaged pastries, nice apples, yogurt cups, cereal, juice boxes, and coffee. That’s all we expect for this price, and we were glad it was not all just packaged pastries.

The blinds in the room were broken and barely functional. They need repair or replacement. Not a major complaint, though.

The room was clean and I loved having a large refrigerator with a freezer. The microwave was small but quite adequate. The room was small but very adequate for one person. Having a good air conditioner/heater was a real plus. Bathroom was small with a sink, toilet, and shower stall---but clean and perfectly acceptable. If you stay here, I'd recommend taking 85 south to Ajo and then on to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Both were worthwhile.

Breakfast was some small commercial wrapped bakery, small bottles of orangish juice, and coffee/tea---not much. Once you got it by walking to the office, you basically took it back to your room to eat. I didn't mind the fairly constant truck traffic on Pima Road/85 nor the occasional freight trains a few hundred yards across the road, but light sleepers might not be so blasé.

Nice classic Motel on the side of the highway within earshot of the rails running through Gila Bend...guy at the desk gave a good recommendation for Mexican food down the street...

Stunning and shockingly rapid change in the temperature of the shower - all seemed well - good temperature and volume - then without warning just ice cold water - the shift happened multiple times during the shower...- temperature control shower valves are pretty common these days... sheesh

Ground floor rooms, so I could drive right up to the door. Hot showers. Decent bed. Ice and small refrigerator.

Basic motel, no luxuries. "Breakfast" was packaged donuts and tepid coffee. Avoid and head for the nearby truck stops where you can get great coffee and fresh fruit. Dated colors and I have come to hate bedspreads...

Great little budget motel. Helpful guy at the checkin. Felt safe and clean. We were pulling a uhaul trailer and felt safe with it in the parking area right outside our room. Full fridge. Usually stay in Tucson on our trips toward San Diego but will definitely drive the extra hour and stay here again. Better value and weve had some sketchy experiences with the low tier hotels in Tucson...think La Quinta, Country Inn, etc.

Bed has strange metal pedestal that was easy to accidentally kick and made a huge twang. Lol

Surprisingly nice room. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. A motel on its own in the middle of nowhere is doing very good. Come and stay here if passing by.

Very weak coffee, breakfast options were cold pastries and yoghurts from the fridge.

Room in very good shape, comfy bed, plenty of room for me.

Heating unit was a bit noisy, but tolerable. Water lines hooked up backwards in shower..... hot water when the dial was turned to cold, cold water when the dial was turned to hot.

Convenient location. Nothing fancy but it met our expectations. Quiet night sleep despite being near a busy road and train tracks. Coffee, danishes. cereal for breakfast. Loved taking photos of the sunrise and the hotel's iconic sign.

The room isn’t fancy, but it was super comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. The shower had great water pressure, and hot water. It was very quiet, despite being right on the highway.

Our rental car broke down and it took Avis 12 hours to get another car to us. Mit let us stay on the property the entire time. He took care of our luggage all day and was most hospitable. If you're in Gila Bend, Palms 🌴 Inn is the place to stay. The hospitality can't be beat. The breakfast was good, coffee excellent and the room was comfortable. Don't miss this oasis in the desert!
