Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, whoever cleans the rooms is amazing. I wish all hotels were this clean. The matress was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. Great place to stay for a couple days. Very nostalgic. So dated it's cool.

When I arrived for check in the office was locked. A sign said to ring the night bell. I rang it a couple of times and after while a man unlocked the office. He was dressed sloppy and had a hickey. He was pleasant but not a good look, the group of guys drinking in the corner also was not a good look. Outside the back door of the office, the owners apartment, there was a serious mess. I had requested a second floor room but was put on the first floor.

The price was exceptional. The hotel is a short 4 mile drive from/to the 10 freeway right through the center of the little town of Wilcox. The hotel's is a two-story structure where the rooms are side-by-side and face out toward the parking area. The parking area was very well lit and there was plenty of parking. The pool is located right across the parking lot, adjacent to the main office. The room I stayed in was clean, and well furnished. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I slept like a rock - it was so quiet. The WiFi is free and so is the parking and pool.

There isn't any type of breakfast offered - but for the price - I didn't mind it.

Excellent budget motel! Big clean comfortable room. David was great. He gave me a better deal than what I had reserved on Booking.com. Excellent wifi. Very good TV and cable package, big fridge and freezer, super clean, and a bery comfortable bed, all for under $70. No coffee maker and blow dryer, but no big deal for the price. The room is as nice as some I have paid $100+ for. Good job Motel 8!

Not really anything for the price. You just hope you get a reasonably clean room, but this far exceeded that.

We checked in as a family of 4 at almost midnight and the double queen bedroom we booked was on the 2nd floor, The night reception guy was very friendly and helpful, he actually noticed my elderly in the car and offered a free upgrade to one of the renovated rooms on the ground floor, the check-in was easy and quick, the room was very clean and newly renovated , it has a clean microwave and a refrigerator which is very important to keep your food fresh, shower water is hot , the wifi is very fast

Everything was good, the only thing we didn’t know until we arrived is they charge a small additional 17 $ to the original price per night if you were 4 ppl, because they charge per person number, which is still fine actually in comparison to the other motels prices around the area

Nice motel run by a very friendly couple, gave us fruit at check in and check out.. Had good wi-fi, fridge, comfortable beds and pillows, microwave, bathtub, plenty of outlets. Super clean rooms, the main thing I must have. No complaints at all. The manager did tell me that they have to pay commissions to booking companies so if I hadn't gone through one, my room would have been $10 less. From now on, I'm calling motels for their rate.

All was good. It was an older motel so I gave it a 9 but there wasn't anything to complain about. We got there in the afternoon so walked around as depot, museums were nearby.

I was quite happy with our room. The place is a little dated but it's very obvious the owners take great care in making you very comfortable. Was traveling with my granddaughter. The room was very clean. The beds were soooo comfortable.

Probably the one thing that would've been convenient, was to have a couple more outlets in the room. I only found one, & it was right near the sink. Near or on the nightstand would've been good.

Since it was Motel 8, I didn't really expect much. But upon arrival, the manager or owner was very friendly and nice. He knew who I was when I checked in. The friendly welcome really set the tone and he seemed genuine. I was offered water and the room was clean. The room is outdated but clean and clean is important. Room comes with microwave and fridge. Also good location and close to all the restaurants/wine tastings. It was a quite weekend. Bed is comfy. Thank you for a friendly welcoming.

Easy pleasant check-in, clean room, large fridge, heavy light-blocking curtains, good temp control (only a little loud, but fast). Decent water pressure. Firm mattress (if you like that). Large bed.

Firm mattress (if you don't like that) - if you're sharing, you can feel the other person move. Can hear people talking outside. Near train tracks (but the trains are weirdly quiet). Bathroom door sticks.

Very clean and comfortable room with excellent mattress. Manager (?owner) took pride in his facility and was extremely kind, friendly and accommodating. The room was far nicer than I expected for the price. It was on a nice street in old part of town near a fabulous Mexican restaurant, La Única.

Good quiet location, walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants, couple of bars. David in reception gave us a couple of great tips for restaurants and local sights. Comfortable quiet room, good a/c. Clean bathroom.
