For the price point I didn't have many expectations but was impressed with the appearance of my room. The bathroom looked nice and updated and there was a fridge and microwave. The room also had a great A/C unit. The staff were so friendly and helpful and overall I was satisfied with my stay. I also love that this hotel is dog friendly, and I was impressed that my room seemed pretty clean despite this policy- some pet friendly hotel rooms really smell!

My biggest concerns were with the bed and the door to the room. The door had a large gap at the bottom which allowed insects and outside smoking smells to easily enter the room. I came during a mild time of year, but I suspect that this gap would create larger issues during the hot or cold seasons. The bed was clean, but extremely hard, to the point that I had a lot of difficulty sleeping.

I’m staying at a motel 6 in a different city. But it doesn’t compare to what I had at the Modoc Inn. I asked for a single bag. Nothing gave me a double even though I didn’t need it plus it had a refrigerator with the freezer and microwave. The place was small, but the price in the room was fantastic compared to where I am right now.

Tv, the angle to be able to watch it from the bed, made everything kind of dark on the screen. It was tilted down a little bit and might’ve seen things better.

I woke up late and did not participate in the breakfast. Heidi was fast and efficient at check in time. Heidi was also helpful with information on local restaurants recommendations and events. The ice machine was working great with plenty of ice, I was even welcome to fill my ice chest !! I have found my new favorite Motel in Alturas CA. It is called the Modoc Inn ! Thank you Heidi for such great customer service.

The parking lot and exterior were showing their age.

Smelled very nice when we went in the room. Bed was great, good TV, very quiet and air conditioning was comfortable.

Room is old and needs some renovation, would like to see a Bible in the room so we can do our morning study before leaving.

The staff is so accommodating and lovely. This motel is exactly what it needs to be. It's cheap, they let you check in at any time of day, and it's got a bed and a shower.

Convenient to US395, restaurant and fuel station. Stayed in cool little room that met my request and had covered parking for the motorcycle

Some issue with TV in initial room (14). Moved me to 19 - no issue.

Staff were great and so was the price.

I loved the fact that they accepted pets.

I would have liked a real milk product for my morning coffee.
