The hotel itself, along with its restaurant, were great. The foods I had were excellent, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

It turns out it's really close to the City of Downey jail. As I made my way to my vehicle in the parking lot behind the Embassy Suites, I was greeted by the sight of a "gang banger" type walking through where the cars, including mine are parked. He was going through a large baggie with items. He retrieved his belt and began putting it on as he walked. I recognize this type of individual as I had friends who worked as police officers and at the jails in Los Angeles.

I love everything about this hotel. It’s very nice on the inside! The rooms couldn’t be better, It’s big/very spacious! Clean!! Service is top notch 10/10 They are very helpful, I would choose to stay here over any other place I have no complaints. Not to mention they have free breakfast and during happy hour you get 2 free drinks on them!! it’s a lot of food places around including a mall. I can’t wait to get another room here!

The hotel is lovely, great breakfast

Short staffed front desk staff never answer phone. At checkin would not honor reservation confirmed with cc. I live in the neighborhood. My family was visiting from out of the country so it was very disappointing to not feel welcome. My brother in law intervened and reminded them of their policy by showing him the paper they give guests upon arrival so I realized that had we not stood our ground I would have had to find another place for that night. Did not get the rooms requested but settled for what they offered instead. The front desk needs better training, no sense of urgency. There is a brand new hotel on the across the street so next time I will take my business elsewhere.

We had a great experience checking into our room. I wish I could remember the name of the man who helped us. He was so kind and helpful. He was training, tall, and wears glasses. He made our stay so much better! Thank you! The room was great with a great view of downtown LA. We dined at the restaurant and ordered pizza. The Margherita pizza was so good! We will definitely be staying here again.

I liked how they made the omelets to your liking. Maybe extend breakfast to 11 would be nice for future stays. Overall the area was in a great location and it was a nice place.

I didn't like the extra charge for parking and then I had to wait until 11:30pm for the events to be over to move my vehicle to a different spot. The bathroom were a little tight and a smell when walking into the room. Maybe because all room are indoor.

The staff is very nice and welcoming when you arrive. We had one issue with the toilet paper holder and in speaking with one of the staff members, she advised it would be immediately fixed and by the time we got back to the hotel room, it was fixed! Loved the free drink tickets which was a nice touch to the trip! We love how it's conveniently located to shops, restaurants and the Saturday farmer's market!

The breakfast was not long enough and the lines were so long, we opted out to go to eat breakfast outside of the hotel. They advised the breakfast was 6 am to 9 am and by 8:00-8:15 (around when people woke up), it was packed. Our room did not have enough towels and had to request more. The biggest issue we had though was with the shower where the floor was EXTREMELY slippery. We had to put a towel down just so we could feel comfortable and not slip. That needs a big change because it's tile.

I love to stay here because it feels like 2 rooms in one with being able to close the door to separate the living room area to the bedroom area.

This is the 3rd time staying here, and the toilet paper holders do not close and have to leave the roll of toilet paper on the counter. Floors did not look like they were swept.... sofa bed mattress is so thin, not comfortable feels like you're sleeping on the floor instead of a bed

Hotel was attractive and rooms were clean suites with a sitting area. Breakfast and welcome drinks were good and included.

Breakfast area furniture was not in very good condition. Lighting in room was modern and extensive but not very effective. Pillows were not comfortable. Tub water filled to ankle depth when showering. Seemed a bit over-priced...

Breakfast was great ! Chef would cook our eggs how we like them. Breakfast was awesome had everything from fruit and cereal oatmeal, waffles Great place for family vacation

Nothing Everything was great . Friendly staff greet you with a smile and good attitude. Rooms very clean and smelling clean.

The beds are very comfy and I like the black-out curtains that allow for that additional sleep in time! The room is well-equipped and is like a studio apartment!

The breakfast hours during the week start very early, 6-9 am but on the weekends, they are 7-10. I believe they need to be consistent all week. There are several events during the weekend and it can get very loud between the music and the bar. I would suggest staying on the 3rd floor (Room 330 is the best) or any "corner unit" on any floor above the 3rd.
