It's comfortable. The beds aren't hard. It has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and blow dryer. Might have more i didn't use. It had extra pillows. It has a TV with some channels. They have wi-fi and phone. It has a heater and fans in case it gets hot. The owner is super nice and will fix any issues that may arise 24/7. It also has 2 wooden chairs and a table outside every room. Kings beach is less than a mile away. And next door is a delicious food place you can walk to, called The Char Pit. You can't beat the price. We reserved #37. It's a 1 bedroom with a queen bed in the room with a closet and a queen bed in the main room with a closet, couch, and an entertainment center with 32 inch tv. cable box, and 3 drawers to put stuff. Next to couch is the mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. There's a round table with 2 chairs. There's also a square glass coffee table. By the bed There's more drawers. The door can be deadbolt. There's heavy curtains to help keep the heat or coolness in.

Only things that was an issue is if you have anything sugary out, we got ants. I poured my flat soda down the bathroom sink and an hour later there were ants in the sink. He came right away and sprayed them. It's the mountains. Also there's no ac. To me the rooms are not perfect but nice and comfortable. Certainly deserves more than 2 stars it shows. It's not fancy. If you want fancy and modern, you'll have to go reserve an expensive room. You can't beat the price.

Good location, about a 3 min walk from the beach. There is a gas station food mart right across the street which was convenient as well. A 7/11 is close by too. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good value for the price, cozy little room with all the necessities. Overall, I think it was good value for the very affordable price, especially if you’re someone like me who was just looking for a place to sleep for one night.

I wish the appliances were a bit fresher - the coffee machine was very old and felt… Very used. Also, there was a plastic bowl to use on top of the microwave that had paper towels/tissues that someone left under it and I guess it went unnoticed. All in all place felt clean though.

The owner / manager was honest,kind and sincere. The unit was large and the bed was comfortable and clean the sink area has been updated with marble countertops. The water in the shower was hot I felt safe in the area. Right next to a great hot dog hamburger stand called the char pit located at the end of Stevenson's driveway, I would highly recommend the banana shake. I will be back😁 I fell in love with their vintage sign "Stevenson's Holiday inn"

Check-in was at 3pm however we arrived at 1:30pm and was still able to check in. We were given a choice of two rooms. The one we chose had a kitchen complete with plate and bowls, silverware and cooking utensils,, glasses and cups, a coffee pot with coffee provided, a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, pots and pans, and a table and 2 chairs. There was one double bed in the main room with a TV and another table with two chairs and another chair. The other double bed was in a separate room. The bathroom was supplied with soaps shampoo and conditioner packets, and a hair dryer. There were three fans, an ironing board and iron for our use. I especially liked the fact that it had two doors, one going out to the parking lot and the other accessing a front porch with two chairs and fenced yard. Plenty big for the three of us adults.

The carpet was a bit worn and stained, not enough toilet paper supplied, the pool was not working nor was the pop machine, there was only a shower (no tub) and the water pressure for the shower and toilet was weak. Nothing I couldn't live with.

The clean, modest rooms have everything we look for in a room with no additional charge: TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot w/coffee, blow dryer, and even an ironing board and iron. There are nice restaurants or quick food and a grocery store nearby. Sometimes when we have booked motels online that were located in an area with which we weren't familiar, we found that the motel was located in a seedy part of town where we felt unsafe, but Stevenson's is in a safe area with friendly neighbors. Enjoy the 1 block walk through the pines to the beach and save on parking. If you have any issues or needs, the owner and staff are very nice and helpful - and all of this at an unbeatable rate!

I didn't like hearing spoiled people complain that their room doesn't have a lake view or that the room doesn't compare to more expensive motels. If that's what you want, pay those rates.

I love this darling, older, quaint place. It's comfortable, very close to the beach, (walking distance) and close to lots of places to eat. The porches with the chairs, the shade trees, the parking is easy and close and the man who runs the place is super nice! Thank you!

The lamps in our room are very old and one didn't work at all, but other than that the room was comfortable.

We love the location and the rate for night. I traveled with my two daughters and went to a wedding. Our room was very spacious and we never felt crowded. It was clean and we had a great sleep. Is in the middle of everything.

I don't know, because we are very pleased with the hotel, location and mostly; costumer service.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now! I love this location!!! Walking distance to the beach, stores and the Char Pit one of my favorite places to eat which is right next door!

A little out dated but not an issue for me because I been staying in old cabins for years so this place reminds me them.

An affordable place to stay in Tahoe near the beach and near some ski resorts (North Star, Palisades). Solid WiFi. Great heating in the room during the winter. Check in anytime with the host.

The bed isn't the most comfortable. And the bedding is not the cleanest or nicest. But we stay here due to good price and value compared to other options in Tahoe.

Easy walking access to Kings Beach and businesses around the area! All the parkings around the area are very competitive especially after 11 or so on weekends, so our location was a huge advantage.

The room felt a bit old and dusty, which I personally didn’t mind but my partner who has dust allergy did.
